Hey guys I found this from multiple different sites. It seems that the original picture is from a twitter of someone on tweet photo. Either way, it looks real for the most part and I wouldn't doubt it to possibly shine some more light on this amazing game.

On the cover it shows the Ferrari and says

"New! Drive, race, and wreck this Ferrari"

"1000 cars in full HD"

Again, not 100% sure this is real because I can't find anything about it officially anywhere but it looks pretty real and seemed like news to share.

Edit: Nevermind I found it but it's hard to do a search for it. I feel like making it a separate thread is still not a large issue but that's up to the admins. The magazine should be coming out in a few weeks, maybe we can discuss it separately in this thread when that happens. Oh well.

I got bad remebers about this magazines... 👎

I´m sure they mean 1000 cars will be in the game... And none of them will be shown in the magazine...
 
every magazine is a potential new details about GT.
My hopes are very good about it. if it is february so how could it be early release?
 
So what about that opm french and opm england GT5 BIG Preview, a few months ago... Both were full of old GTP infos...

We're closer to release now, and given this is a full cover story, I have good vibes about this one.

you are missing "world exclusive" so it mean something will be world exclusive :)

Who knows it can be first review of GT5 and GT will come to USA and EU before march :D

Surely as it says drive and wreck this Ferrari - is this in conjunction with a demo of GT5 we can look forward too where you can actually drive and wreck the ferrari or am I living in hope.

as long as the JP version drops in March and i can Import it while waiting for the US (WHEN-EVER that may be) im fine... i will not be waiting for summer 2010 for a US version.

I got their January Magazine, and they attempted to do a 24-hr stint on MW2 on release date. Well, we all know how long it took IW to get any kind of reliability on it. It's a fun read. Decent magazine.

On sale 19th Jan, the Feb issue is.

Can you confirm this? That would be awesome because I haven't heard any confirmation of a release date for the mag. I noticed gaming magazines usually come out around the same time but not to the date.

How can you doubt something like that? And why do you think it's so important? It's just a magazine for crying out loud.
 
I read a similar article last week, think was play3 (?) and they stated all tracks and cars revealed, but in the end it was just a handful tracks and cars, which were all known before... nothing new at all, not even numbers of tracks or something.
I don't expect this to be much different, but then OPM has always been a rather good mag.

Anyone know how to import OPM in Germany btw??

Never said I am doubting him. I am better with remembering pictures rather than words though. I can remember something better and that's a date as of now I would like to remember. And you say it's just a magazine but let's look at the facts.

1. Games are practically done a good 2-3 months before release. Those last months is simply spent polishing and such but GT5 apparently could've been released any time at this point. You can claim they mean they are simply polishing it up and adding some things.

2. They know the fans are wanting to know/see more always but there hasn't been a whole lot and not much of a showing at VGA which would've been a great time to do so.

3. It's just pictures and a magazine but there is still so much to learn about the game and I feel that they will tell us plenty we don't know and maybe even just have pictures of some cars after wrecks to promote the damage even more. Until another video comes out, I would be happy with some more screens of damage, night racing, rally (we haven't seen a single screenshot so it's due), and possible a confirmation of the weather system added.

So all in all there is plenty of things lingering that this magazine article can answer. Whether it will do so or not is hard to say but I feel like they are running out of time to keep holding back so many answers.

My 2 cents.
 
game is out in 3 months in Japan, 3 MONTHS!! And we never got single detail screen shots of NEW damage models, more gameplay pictures and what not... what gives?
 
The actual advert doesn't mention GT5 at all. It simply says, "Next month, etc, Heavy Rain, exclusive review", and the A4 ad has a picture of the main cast woman.

Amazingly, they don't have a website, one is in the process of being built. Bit outdated, but hey.

My magazine has a slightly different layout to that picture in the OP. It's titled PlayStation - Official Magazine - UK. Owned by the same company, so I presume it's just the layout of the title which is bemusing me slightly. Unless it's the regional version?

That DeadSpace 2 magazine is the one I'm looking at. Maybe the OP link is for the US version, anyway, it's a Feb edition, so it'll be released mid-end Jan anyway.
