GT5 Freezing when leaving online lobby

Almost every time I leave an online lobby I freeze on the silver GT symbol.
Is anybody else having this issue? Is there any way to solve this problem?

Same with me. Almost every time.
My GT5 doesn't have the 8GB installed yet so I think that's the problem unless yours is.
My disc is fine too.

I have GT5 installed onto my PS3 don't think that's the problem.

Me too, not always,but most of the time.Game is installed on my PS3.

I'm thinking that sometimes it probably has something to do with the internet cache, but I'm not sure.

I get it, but usually when fishy things are happening to PSN. Sometimes I just walk away and 15 minutes later it comes good. Other times a PSN sign-out works. Most times, its a PS3 reset but I loose all the tunes i did in the room...

This is true. Try waiting a bit when it freezes, and it should come back to the XMB. I've had this happen when I try to quit any graphic-heavy site - or even thread - while I'm on the PS3. In fact, sometimes just quitting Drawception, or a photo-heavy thread right here at GTPlanet, in the middle of loading it, can cause my PS3 to freeze. I leave it as it is and when I return it is usually at the XMB Menu.

Just a freezing problem? You're lucky. That has only happened to me once, but it corrupted my data too. Be glad that this doesn't happen to you.
