Gt5 honda's not so honda?

Hi guys I'm wanting some answers to this question.
I have been a big fan of honda's and vtec engines for about 6 years.I know what a vtec engine sounds like because you can clearly hear the vtec kick in in real life.still to this day I have not found a game that can portrait the perfect sound of a vtec engine.then gt5 came along which I was buzzing about because the game holds what just about any Honda on the roads.but I'm terribly disappointed civic type rs sound nothing like in real life.i must admit I'm really surprised because all the other makes and models of cars on gt5 sound bang on.but why not vtecs? Does anybody think it could be my surround sound that is causing it? I only have 2 speakers and a sub.
 
I dont get what the sound of hondas has to do with you trading. I think thats what the other dude was trying to draw onto with just less words.
 
If you want to trade cars go over to the marketplace as that is what the forum was made for :) Oh btw, I didn't see that as mocking, it was just an honest opinion :)

I must re-iterate though (because of what I have seen so far) go to the marketplace to trade.

The trading part was sort of a sub post if you know what I mean.you know like people have the a spec and b spec level at the end of every reply it's like that but trading instead

Not sure how you get that all the others sound "bang on" The sound is much improved over previous versions for sure but I can assure you that the Honda sounds more like real life than the 67 Cougar XR7 and many others.
 
thats called signature (where out a spec and b spec levels are) but I take offence to that I think you are mocking us for showing our spec levels!
 
Maybe so but I own a civic 1.6 VTRs and gt5 sounds nothing like.s2000 is the best for sound.sounds sweet as but the civic and Nsx are nothing like if ou ask me
 
Not everybody spends all there time on gt5 you know.I don't have time to get 60 golds.I go on gt5 maybe twice a week for a couple of hours.just collecting cars and racing online.I bet you think I rubbish just cause I don't have 60 trophies don't you.the point is I'm not willing to sit there and hit all licences on perfect times.just for ps trophy

No problem man I think patients plays a big part in gt5 I think that's why so many people get bord so fast.that's why I advertised trading.I'm new to this forum and getting used to it such as searching threads before starting new ones.sorry about my attitude pal
 
Haha this made my day :) Never have I seen somebody back track as far as to appologie for their own attitude.

On topic: You are right. GT5 has not "nailed" the V-Tec sound at all. Not even close I think.
 
Thankyou someone who agrees! I don't think any game is going to get the perfect vtec sound but I would have thought gt5 would have cracked it.
 
I just feel I have to post in here. Seems like fun. First of all, all those v-tec hondas you love in real life are probably not stock, so a stock honda in game won't sound like that, and after you tune them, it's impossible to compare because of the huge amount of variables in the tuning. And telling someone out of the blue to add you for trades is a bit odd, there is a forum for that. And hondas do sound much more real than a lot of the other cars do. If you should have any complaint with hondas, it should be that you can't build a crx or eg up to run 10s, not their sound. But I digress.

Don't take anyone here too seriously.. Someone once told me they would not trade with me because my name sounds like a "Chemical Weapons Plant" :)
 
Haha lol maybe so and true I have a Bmc air filter on my 1.6 vtec and spoon exhaust system with 4 branch t-pro manifold so yeah your most likely right.I guess in I sense every car sound different and it would be so hard to put the mechanical difference of every vtec engine in the world in a game as they do all sound different
