+1 although Mark or whatever the guy's name is is a true GT fan unlikely he will point out anything bad.

Mark is not a blind GT fanboy. During his review of GT5:p he brought out the good and bad of the game. And also during his Forza 3 review (which is hilarious )he also pointed out the good and bad of the game. He genuinely loves racing games in general.

+2 I love his reviews, they're silly mostly and therefore original. Why am I looking forward to his review of GT5? Because he IS truly a GT fan, you can tell and he mentiones that his favourite video game series is GT from time to time also in other reviews.
Point is, his review is probabely the only one I am really interested in/will be entertained by.
Entertained by is about right :sly: :)

I remmember the whole Forza and the spelling review hilarious.:)

I posted:
a) that we all have opinions and for some, minor issues will be discarded (for fans), for others they will be turned into huge (haters). And that reviwers also tend to also take sides (more or less professionally) and depicte those preferences.

b) that PD will deliver a great game, no mater what issues may arise, and that ultimatelly, for those in this forum (being GTPlanet, I'm assuming that they love the game and the GT series as simple fans, not fanboys), it won't influence their decision to buy it, so no need to wait reviews to make a decision.

I'm not addressing big issues that I don't believe will arise. But if those do come, fans, especially those in this forum, will still complaint about it (even if fanboys do not) and point them out faster and more accuratelly than any review. Despite still loving and buying the game anyways.

That's what I think a true hearted GTP member is (or should be?) all about.

I actually really like that Lamborghini concept.

Edit: I lied; upon further review, it is pretty tacky.

I don't see why they replaced the Gallardo, didn't the last model come out just last year? and i swear Lamborghini were replacing the Murcielago after the SV? :S

Yeah they were mate...there is no new, new gallardo. Not that i'm aware of. I have a feeling somone sill tell us to put this in the lamborghini concept thread...

I guess its made for the American Market. :) Cause I like it! :dopey:

Yes they're replacing the Murcielago with the Jota.

i really hope that's not the new gallardo then...the gallardo they have now is fine (and still new)!

It's not the Gallardo replacement, it's just a concept car that's obviously based on the current car.

That said, fully carbon and 999kg, it's gonna be spectacularly quick. Shame it doesn't look anywhere near as good as other Lambos.

That Sesto Elemento concept reminds me of the Cala since it's all short and stubby.

That's probably my favorite Lambo and it's a shame it was never put into production. I loved that car in NFS2.

This +1

With the standard Gallardo V10 that's 570 bhp per tonne. It is just a concept but it does show what they are capable of and bodes well for their new models.

Lambo's are meant to look outrageous so I don't understand what's to complain about, I like it.

My favourite Lambo, shame it doesn`t really exist.:guilty:

Review shakedown.

"What, we've waited over 5 years and it's nothing like Forza 3; it's more accessible and you can paint on your car."

I dunno...got a bad feeling about the reviews coming from the big sites/media. I expect EuroGamer and EDGE to give it a good bashing.

I think you mean, not in production. The car is very real & resides in the factory's showroom/museum.

It's funny how perfect a replacement the Sesto makes for the Cala. Really interesting to see the way terrible Italian supercar concept design has evolved over the last decade.

Found a image while using stumbleupon.com which I thought was intersting. It is a part of a series of photos of a Ferrari Concept car called 612 GTO.
I dont know if this car has been spotted or comfirmed for GT5 before so I thought I´d see what you think.Maybe this car is old news, sorry if that is the case.

Im not crazy am I? This must be from GT5

It's fake. It was just a rendering someone made of what they think the GTO should look like.

Moving On.
