I hope they correct the reflections, look at 0:40, the reflection of the buildings pop up on the car, looks a bit ugly :crazy:

nah, we saw a screenshot of Mclaren Orange being available for the R8, which could mean we can mix and match between manufacturers.
 
I can't find it any more on the Audi website, but I remember it had a Orange R8 before... or maybe it was the R8 GT, either way there was an official orange R8.

Anyway, I was thinking for the colour-palette, it may be something we have to unlock? Kaz has mentioned "unlocking" of things quite often, and would be quite cool if applied to this feature.. :)

Unlock it with credits or by winning a certain championship ? or maybe when you reach a certain license level ? I suppose it could be any of the above :)
 
Color is also spelled color, not just colour (pronounced ku-lure I suppose). If you can't accept it take it up with the fine folks responsible for dictionary entry approvals.

I thought F1 raced at Suzuka thus weekend, not Suzuker.

And yes, Anes, you were consicending about his liking the orange R8. I REALLY think it's sweet too. Just so you're not confused, I know it's not a game image.

So? Just because some cars have an extremely large selection of colours doesn't mean there isn't going to be a difference overall.
Some cars only come in less than 5 colours or even only one, having all the TVR colours ( and more significantly all colours of each brand ) available on each single car ( bar some exceptions perhaps ) makes a huge difference to me.
And more importantly you're not limited to factory colours only anymore ( even the plethora of colours offered on any TVR ) on new cars and you can paint used cars which effectively eliminates one possible objection or criteria when choosing to buy or not.
That is when you actually care how a car looks like in a game, if you don't care which colour a car comes in, then it indeed won't be changing one single bit.

Dave in america you say color but in europe we spell it colour.
 
I would be happy with any factory paint on any car.
Not sure if I will go with the same theme on all my cars though it would also be good if we could create a "team scheme" for online racing or even better online teams.

Something is happening on Tuesday or Wednesday. It's some sort of pre-launch event, but we don't have details on what's going to be shown there.
 
Moving on... Watching Vettel at Suzuka reminded me of his involvement with GT5. Did anything new appear on that front, or are we still in the dark?

OK, ignore my previous question about pre-ordering. I was being confused by a special offer that I learned last night applied only to the standard version. Am I correct in assuming that there are no arcane special offers on the collector's edition and I can order it without worrying?

Ughhh :ouch: I dont know Why it said GT5 on the advertisement. For some reason those cars look like GT5 standard car material.
