Hello all of you guys, I am new to this forum, big fan of the GT series, hope I can race some of you on line in november.

Great I can read what you find out from the demos.

Well it looks like the course creator looks pretty good.

Looks like the usual 5 cars wide rally track..👎

Yea i remember hearing you could adjust the width of the track though? Rallying is supposed to be on tracks that are tight! So tight that the car hardly even fits :ouch:

Sorry english is not my native language, Im from Argentina (greetings from the ass of the world).

This crossed trough my head recently: Polyphony D. been showing GT5 with only 8 cars on track so when we get to play the final version, discover that we can play with full 12-16 grid and forget about the standard-cars-incident dont you think so?

Off-Topic: I was just admiring GT5's Photo mode, a feature I overlooked in GT4, and I have to say that these environments are stunning! I wonder how the walk-around feature will look. Too bad PD didn't give us an option to walk or drive around town.

Can anyone elaborate upon the resolution of the shadow maps on the cars in these latest demos? I heed it as being one of the most important things that should be fixed in the final release.

Hello you guys, I am from Colombia, waiting for the release of GT5.

I hope I can see some of you on line in the race track

We already know that there will be 16 car races. GT5 prologue had 16 car races. Plus, we've seen a video with 16 cars on the Ring.

Yes, I know, but my concern is if ONLY on some tracks can be 16 cars (standard or premium) and under what climate conditions?

Im worried about (as may you all may be) because I would like to see ej., Autumn ring - 16 cars raining smashing one each other, premium and standards!! I hope I was clear enough.

What do you mean with "usual"?
You don't want to tell me that Chamonix, Grand Canyon, Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi weren't narrow? If I remember correctly, they said you can change the witdh of a track, pretty sure you will be able to make it as narrow as a normal public road (or like Eiger), that's good enough for me.

Sorry those are narrow and I like them I just want to know why we are getting WRC and have no evidence of rally tracks that WRC racers run. I just want some proper rally tracks this time and feel like we are not getting them.

There's no reason why there wouldn't be 16 car races on any circuit. The only fear that's ever been brought up is what would happen if 12-16 premium cars appeared in the same frame with weather in play. But I'm sure PD has taken care of that issue by now.

Little something for you guys :)

Notice when I crash I upset the cars balance because the brake button is square and I do not have smooth braking Input.

S1 tires no TCS pro physics and a lot of fun!

Anybody know anything bout the clutch on the G25 in GT5? I know it works on prolouge with selected cars but would it be the same thing with the full game? :)

I don't know. There are some tracks that get crowded at 8 cars. Like Tsukuba. 6 Cars on that track is pretty prefect. 16 cars on Tsukuba would be crazy and incredibly choatic. Other courses, like Opera Paris, would be hard to navigate all 16 cars within a couple laps simply because the track is too narrow to pass most of the time. The Ring works because it's so long and it has a 2 mile long straight which gives plenty of opportunity.

I'm don't think ALL courses will have 16 player support, but MOST most likely will.

Last one for the night, damn I love the green monster it sucks I only get 2 min to play on it.

Yeah, there will be exceptions. I should've been more specific and excluded special stages like Opera Paris. However, I can imagine 16 Smart cars on Tsukuba

I got a high quality file of this pic..

and if you zoom in on the windshield you can see the heads up display from the outside of the windshield....that is detail

NASCAR races look so unreal and ridiculous with only 16 cars on track 👎

1. Thats 8 cars, not 16. Count before you post please

2. Its a demo

3. Its Gran Turismo 5, not Nascar 2010.

I was reading the taxi gamer GT5 preview and found this pic:

Can anyone tell which track is that??

Edit: just found out it's from the course creator

I have just noticed the random cones on the course creator, i sure hope we can place cones and make Gymkhana courses, this may have been the stunts thing we heard about?

For some reason this car reminds me of a certain fish that I can't remember the name at the moment.

Hopefully it's as good as it looks on the track.

Hopefully the quality of the actual game is comparable to this picture.
