I guess that pic confirms standards can race with premiums!

if you look carefully you will notice also that the 8c competizione in drifting has tha rear wheel in deformation...

from the time they showed standard cars, i never thought they couldn't race against the premium one...
for me is really normal that they could race together...

Since GT5's been delayed, how will Gamestops 'Turismo Tuesdays' work?

FYI, Game UK (holding my Signature order) have put down their date simply as 12/2010.

Sorry for re-posting a huge image, but what is the grey car in the back? It looks like a van of some sort? And is the orange one a Marcos?

Original Golf GTi?

Could be. However scale comparison with other seems a little too big. The orange one seems a Spitfire and the light blue a Alfa Duetto.

Light blue car seems an Alfa Duetto Spider to me, the mustard yellow one looks like a Triumph Spitfire.

Above quote from the previous page ;), grey car could be the original Golf GTi as all of those other cars are also classics but it's hard to tell.

And why are Susan Boyle and Ronnie Sullivan ( presumably ) listed as drivers?

Those are Standard cars, except for the VW bus, correct? If so, have there been any other shots of the standard and premium cars mixed?

edit: sorry, I found it in the standard vs premium thread.

What's with that guys helmet on that B-Spec picture (Bottom middle). Does that mean he's had a crash?

It's simply pixelated as the rest of the real-time 3D game graphics on that image, for some reason.

Doesn't look like that to me. Very odd pixelation if it is.

If you referring to the strange pattern that can be seen, it might be some form of customization. It's hard to tell with that pixelization though.
However, that just made me realize that since it's pixelized, the helmet is probably rendered in real-time.

Maybe it will move slightly or as you're implying, it will depict damage of some sort/driver health.

I Really think they are related, seeing as the helmet appears damaged and there's a red and blue bar right by it, being the red is either more fatigued or more damaged.

Edit : These are all guesses but, maybe that's what the blue bar and the green bar is for? I'd assume tire damage/wear would show a tire, but I could be wrong. I don't know tho since I can't read Japanese :(
All those wants of wanting to learn the language would of been really beneficial for this part of the GT 5 season. lol

The bar, which looks like it might have a slider control, is possibly the aggression selector, similar to the setting in GT4 B-Spec where you could tell the driver how hard to push during the race.

It looks like the helmet is cracked, and that bar might be a fatigue or damage bar.

More likely to be what Kazunori hopes happens to Ben Collins right now. Luckily he's not a GTP member, or I'd have to ban him for breaching the Motorsport forum's sticky.

Could anyone please explain this whole "Ben Collins"-story or am I the only one not getting that joke?
