Hello everyone. Surfing through the internet, I've found this page: http://www.juegosdb.com/juegos/playstation3/videojuegos/motos-gran-turismo-5-ps3.html
Humm... the web page is in spanish... but on it, the editor ensures that Kazunori said: "...if fans claim it, I will introduce Motorcycles on GT5...", as a DCL of course... Intersting, isn't it? Again, sorry if it had already been posted. :sly:

Its essentially the same article of Kaz saying he'll include bikes if the demand is strong enough for it. So its basically old news recycled for page views.

Ok! As I said. Sorry if it had already been posted. :sly:

For a racing game this looks pretty good IMO 👍

There are just hair physics missing like those in FF13
And we'll see him most of the time with a helmet anyway.

More like this guy:

Premium cars will look A LOT better than Prologue cars, this was said almost 1 year ago. Premium cars in GT5 will have about 400.000-500.000 polygons, Prologue cars have about 100.000-250.000 if I'm not mistaken.

... not to disappont anyone but premiums in GT5 will be no different than GT5P - modelling wise. They'll have more polygons because they'll be modelled on the inside for damage. Also the ones in Prologue could have had less polys bacause they didnt have separated panels which is also needed for damage.

Anyway its not like they need any more poly than the Prologue cars, they have plenty already. They have more important things to improve like that jaggy shading.

Next march.

GT5, the game where you drive the cars of today and yesterday tomorrow.

This is a good point, and the only thing that could explain it is that PD has yet to show us a video with everything in its final state. If so, I'm not sure some of this is an old build issue as much as a not revealing all their secrets issue.

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but this seems to have little to do with how you expect standard cars to look and more to do with you taking an opportunity to complain that standards exist at all.

Depending on the author of the article very little of it should be taken as clear cut fact. Often I have seen articles refer to something that aren't accurate to the reality. My point was to merely show you how your 2 month guesstimate could be inaccurate and how if the article is accurate it is possible.

Basically, don't be so quick to write it off because you expect less without having seen it. Will you write off any review/preview article as wishful thinking that describes standard cars as anything but a problem?

I like your thought process. 👍

One feature I'm really looking forward to is youtube upload ability. I don't think we are going to get that anymore.

You all keep saying the same stuff. I'm sour, lame jokes. It's not funny for one, and again. I am not sour. It's just pointless to base someone's mood on a post. You don't know if I was joking or not. Anyway. Not sure if this has been shown, but some decent driving here...

You mean, GT5 the game where you have so much time to get crushed by a car before you can even have a chance to put your fingers on it :grumpy:

Since the release of GT4, Forza 1, Forza 2, and Forza 3 have been released and Forza 4 was shown nearly 6 months ago.

Annnnddd? You could probably put 1-2-3 and 4 together and still not equal GT5. imo

Oh snap, not the GT versus Forza 'debate' again, now where did I leave that Porsche footage?

True, that's possible, the Standard video could be more about hiding secrets than giving an accurate view. But surely after seeing the fallout, and that it's now been months since that video... you'd think PD would show something about Standards. I know I'd want to.

Nah, given the level of detail PD set for Premiums, I understand some cars were never going to get the current-gen treatment. I also see the pros and cons to both having the Standards, or a hypothetical Premium-only GT5. My comment about the dead modeling process mostly stems from the basic makeup of the cars, which really does stand in the way of future installments of the series having one homogeneous level of quality for the models. I don't think that's an unreasonable goal.

Admittedly, it's a guesstimate, but I'm basing it off of numerous bits of data provided by PD themselves. A lot of things could be possible... but some are a lot more likely than others if we go by hints (since PD seems incredibly cagey about telling it's fans much of anything :-/).

Basically, don't be so quick to write it off because you expect less without having seen it. Will you write off any review/preview article as wishful thinking that describes standard cars as anything but a problem?

I think you've got a mixed up idea of my views on Standards. We can always head on over to the ole' haunt if you'd prefer ;).

The Porsche footage? Oh, you mean the one that looks like a cardboard cut out like every other car in FM3? How about that brand new car pack with the LFA that doesn't even sound right?

Let's not go there with Forza. GT5 might be delayed but at least we have some sort of realism to look forward to!

Who's debating? Not that interested in Porsche either.

Hmm... Forza hyperbole again? There's... something... I know I wanted to say about it... but what?

Aw, people's feelings were hurt. We keep going on and on about the same thing and people make jokes over and over. It's old. We should move on.

How fitting!
