It seems that the guy puts his hands on the game, but due to the fact the cover does not really look like the official one and there is no blu-ray inside it might be an obvious fake too... who knows :nervous:

Any news regarding youtube upload for GT5 replays? It was brought up a while back but there have been no word on it since.

he's just expecting the worst and I don't blame him. If he is right and it doesn't come out this year who's going to be more hurt, those who were anticipating it for this year or those who expected it to be next year? I can't even expect the worst just to soften the megaton disappointment because I want to have some hope that it'll make it out for this year.
 
i hope it get's done a few months before December 2012, so we can play with it before ... :scared:
 

Lolz, when he opens the box, he says: Hm, somebody stole the disc. Besides, it was not enterly clear for me, where he had that from. As I understood it, it's, as the title says, a pre-order box and he believes the game is releasing in November.

If he was expecting the worst, I wont blame him either because I'm expecting the worst as well. The problem is he's not expecting it. He's acting like he knows it.

This is what I have told people all the time, but now even my patience is running out. It's getting ridiculous. 6 years of development and we still don't know when (or should I say if?) it will be released.

That whole thing looks totally fake, it reminds me of the stuff pirated copies do to make things more appealing and legit (like glossy embossing). Other things which give it away (if it was the real game) is the box art which doesn't resemble any format seen so far and the non standard text fonts all over the box....... oh and the fact its missing the disk :lol:

If it was a Pre-order box it would not be wrapped and also they wouldn't contain any of the material inside such as the manual etc. Its meant to just be for people to pick up and take to the counter to order.

Smells totally fishy.

Jordan should post a news article about Sony's (or whoever it was) promise of a new release date, and that the customers patience is running out to put some pressure on Sony.

Getting really sick and tired of Sony's deceptions now... No matter how long it takes or how frustrated i get, i will still buy the game and Sony knows this, so it seems that they are willing to piss on us over and over again. There should be a way to give consequences to Sony for lying all the time, maybe an article could do it.

It's a common thing here (those kinds of pre-orders).
Usually it's just a poster/postcards/etc inside. Sometimes there's DVD with all official game trailers as well. In GT5 version there's also a code to dl 6 "stealth series" cars when game will be released.

There's still really really REALLY many ppl who don't have a credit card and no any super big gaming store (such as gamestop etc).
So ppl actually buying games in some small gaming stores or PC related shops that has a gaming sections as well. Of course those stores won't bother with pre-order, so publishers releases those kind of pre-order boxes.
Yeah, it's a bit weird, but at least all who bought it got something GT5 related. ^^

Btw, those pre-order boxes is another thing, that points on fact, that delay was very unexpected.
That box cost about 7$ and there's also a coupon for discount (same ~7$ ) as that pre-order cost, but the thing is... it expires by 1.12.2010. I know that after delay some ppl have asked Sony if that ppl still will be able to use that coupon after 1st december, but so far there's no answer.
And that's the 1st game that had those pre-order boxes, that got delayed (i can remember about 15 for the last 2 or so years)...

Maybe it was some sort of eBay scam, like all the unfortunate people that bought XBox boxes when it was first released, the advert showing (no actual XBox included) in the fineprint.
