Microsoft holds the Ferrari license, not Porsche - that belongs to EA.

That was most likely due to Microsoft paying the exclusivity. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Ferrari pack came out for PS3 eventually. What you should be looking at is the fact that EVERY time EA came on stage at E3 2010 to demo a game they used a PS3.

Couple other points: NFS HP2...released early on the PS2 with better graphics than even the PC version....and I mean, EA was at the E3 of that year and announced there that the Ps2 version would be coming out the following week.

You hardly ever see EA actually playing one of their games on the 360 or PC. It's usually always seen on the PS3. And there is a plethora of exclusive content for PS3 coming.

I don't think if Sony released GT5 on the 16th, it would hurt their relationship with EA. But, I also don't see GT5 coming out that early. Like I said, the 23rd would probably be the earliest. And the 30th-3rd dates being tossed around are a bit more likely.

EA doesn't have the Ferrari license on the PS3 so they can't release the pack. The reason they could on the 360 is because MS has the exclusive rights to Ferrari on that console. So they sub licensed it to them just like EA sub licensed Porsche's to MS.
 
SO we don't get Porsche? Not a big deal since we still get RUF, but I did want the Carerra GT in the game. Thats the only Porsche I like.

There's at least a few more lurking in there. Can't be sure what they are, myself, but I'm pretty sure they're not confirmed cars.

Me too, but what Kaz said tonight is enough to keep my hopes up for a release at the end of the month.
