Ahahaha! 👍

Wow, shameless plug. Maybe they can put Nov. 2, 2010 on there too :yuck:

Too bad NASCAR ain't as big as other motorsports.

NASCAR Sprint Cup events average 1 million viewers per race on tv and up to 200k in the stands at the largest venues. Not big enough?

Not to mention its not exactly an 'international' motorsport. So most of the audience is within North America.

from Wikipedia:
NASCAR holds 17 of the top 20 attended single-day sporting events in the world,[7] and claims 75 million fans who purchase over $3 billion in annual licensed product sales.

Wow, alot of posts in this thread have been deleted since last night when I finally went to bed.

Sony ninjas weren't quite on top of that minor leak, I guess.

Now they are.

Shameful thing that was, posting dazthedominant's personal information.

What personal information was posted?

A link to his facebook page?

THE ENTIRE INTERNET HAS ACCESS TO THAT ANYWAY. NONE of his personal information was breached or put on the internet, NOT EVEN AN E-MAIL ADDRESS.

stop exaggerating like I have you guys all his home address, telephone number, blood type, hair color, eye color, and entire DNA make up.

A facebook page is open to everybody, I simply posted the URL. I googled the guys name which is perfectly legal and acceptable, He chose to share his info on the internet.

If his facebook info was open to the public I probably wouldn't of posted it, but it was all 100% private, his photos, info, wall, everything, all you could see was what this guy 'likes'. If you wanted to contact this guy he had to approve you as a friend, so it was entirely up to this guy what he shared with you.

He is the guy breaking the rules, not me.

If Jordan's to be believed that Sony and the cops aren't involved. I have a feeling his struck some kind of deal with the guy who leaked the image e.g. GTPlanet gets exclusive access to the photos/videos the guy gets from the game in exchange for all the info/links linking it back to the guy him being removed from this website and its forums, or something along those lines.

Or Jordan felt pity for the guy and just removed all his "personal" info from this website..

It would've been much classier of you to keep your search results to yourself, that's all.

I understand that all you did was post ridiculously easy to find information which exists in the public domain.

Loose lips sink ships?

I really enjoyed the trailer that you done. Music was great MIAMI VICE BABY!!! The way that you tied the music with that changing of the cars and scenes were great. Great Work.

Very well done indeed Mr. Hardvibes, I also used the miami vice soundtrack for the video I made. I used Mogwai's auto rock. Your video has a nice thrill to it.

Jav
Whoa! That vid was just sweet!!
Thank you:bowdown:

For those who haven't seen it yet this is it! Please put it in 720p for better sound quality. Sit back and enjoy :)

What I am curious about is the first post by Jordan on th news page before he edited it.
When he said to the poster of the pic "It would be in your best interest to contact me"
Now thinking of that why would it be in his best interest, what could Jordan do for him?

@Jordan(Not taking anything away from you or questioning you but just wondering why that was said).

Thats what has me puzzled. Anyway can't wait for Jordan to post some news whatever it might be. :)

I wonder what happens when driving a convertable when it starts raining.

Roof goes up? If not, will the rain show on your visor? ahha

@trk29 this is a news site, if exclusive news was big enough I'm sure GTP would pay for it.

How lovely to find that our disc is now under embargo. It looks like Christmas has come early; I love a good mystery. Decisions, decisions... Should I get my Sherlock pipe or my Morse pint of bitter?

I'm thinking we need a little more "deviousness"...

Time to fool "them" into giving themselves away. :p

Well technically if the convertible is designed correctly the rain should not hit the driver as long as there moving, I doubt they allow open tops in the rain though.

I understand that but also GTP would also respect Sony/PD if they have contacted him to not saying anything, I'm sure GTP wouldn't.

Good job on the trailer. I would have preferred the Phil Collins version but that one was not bad.

My best guess is they announce monday, there not working on the weekend at sony and Kaz has been at SEMA so no meetings till he gets back.

Mhh really the word "soon" is not fun anymore... really annoying word, thanks to sony...

If I say soon, I don´t mean months or years... I mean hours or days...

By the way, 1-2 weeks ago, I remember that you had about ~100 posts, damn you must be active to reach 500 in that short time @sher_da_putt

Funny how the image of the disc hasn't been removed from Sony's official forums, just this one.

All seems a bit melodramatic to be honest.

And the French article........... "It should roar under the tree ..." WTF does that mean !

It talks about the christmas tree, it means that the game should be placed under the christmas tree on december 25th... if everything is ok :)

Sony Sends 550,000 GT5 copies to France

not sure of the authenticity, but seems legit.
👍
The delay of game would be tied to massive quantities that Sony intends to market. Also according to sources in the distribution, in addition to games included in the PS3 packs to 349 euros, no less than 450 000 copies of Gran Turismo 5 will be offered for sale, just for the normal version, plus 100 000 Collector Editions and 5000 Signature editions. And that in France alone!
Big numbers for the first launch!more than 450,000 copies(standard+collector and signature edition) only for the France marketing:drool:

Sage mal Sele, Du hast auch immerzu nur das gleiche Thema, oder? Bitte höre endlich damit auf!

In english:
Say Sele, you have every time the same issue in your posts, or? Shut up with this please!

and if you read some more, it seems that Black Ops has 650,000 copies for the French market. I didn't think GT5 was gonna sell nearly as well as Black Ops, but maybe it's different in France.

France does have a massive GT following though. And I'd say the fact that this years winner of GT Academy was a frenchman might have had something to do with the interest.

Call of Duty franchise is very much a British and American game.
