Have you just been watching The Gadget Show on Dave then?
Max course editor lengh is around 6 miles......or 6km
Haha I sure have. It helps to pass the time while waiting for news on GT5 as well as waiting for the F1 in 3 hours. 👍
EDIT: Back on topic, is the Madrid event on the 24th-25th November conifrmed then? If so I won't be expecting anything until then.

Care to smash a mystery for me? What the devil do people mean when they say that?
Thank you for the confirmation though I would still like to see the original article where that figure was sourced from if possible, just for reading purposes.
The only problem I see is the cases, books and scalemodels for the CE and SE editions. I bet those cases and scalemodels are made in china or somewhere in that area. They need to be shiped aswell. I don't think they will be traving by plane but by boat to the printingplants where they will be assembled. And 5000 SE for france only will mean alot more scalemodels must have been made for the whole word. I don't know how many scalemodels kyosho can preduce but it's lot of work beside their 'normal' production.
i expect they are on the same ship. i know a large cargo ship takes 12-14 days from china to the uk.
IGN UKYamauchi created one for the purpose of the demo, a 10km run through the Belgian High Fens. It was sparse but not without sparkle, with rolling hills and fields and the occasional environmental feature like a small village giving it the feeling of a long and winding country road.
Haha the retarded thing is I know exactly where that is. It's in Venice at the Giardini boat stop, you can see it on google maps lol.
I was thinking more of a downhill/uphill course, although i would imagine that would be a hard thing to pull off within the confines of a course randomizer.
You mean like a touge style course? It's probably possible as PD is Japanese. I'd be surprised if we didn't get something for mountain drifting anyway.
That would be epic! Have Polyphony ever done any mountain style courses in thier previous games?
If PD ever try their hand at creating something along the lines of Irohazaka (if not the real road), please, don't let it end like Fujimi Kaido, that thing only got the looks.
All i can remember is pike peaks in gt 2 that was an uphill / downhill course
cheers, couldn't remember if it was 6 miles or 6 kilometers....Thats just the course editor limit, the Nurb's more than twice that lengh.
Perhaps the downhill /uphill course option is one of the base tracks we haven't seen yet? If they have mountain drifting in this game then i dont think i'll leave the house again lol. FT-86 downhill drift FTW!!
Can't wait to drive that car would be awesome to drive on mount haruna
+ 1 to that! Im sick of racing Akina/Haruna on rFactor
