Honestly, I hate that guy, but I kinda respect his effectiveness. :crazy:

However, everything should be (legitimately) ramping up very soon.
 
Demand more introspective insight in the decision to announce a release date.

Limited supplies could jack up demand and PR Sony. Maybe they prefer to flood the market with this one product and not have any copy shortages?

Or burn effigies

Or print GT tee shirts with clever slogans. "does everything but exist" etc.

... On the other hand, if the whole GT community goes silent and nobody mentions GT5, then the Sony marketing dept will probably be crapping their pants and start dishing out information to stir peoples' interests again. Maybe we need to change our strategy a bit?

Good luck with that... But Im sure Sony have set timeframes for distribution/announcements/release already, so whether the forum has 5 or 5000 posts an hour won't make a difference.

Anyway, this has made for an interesting morning of procrastinating at work.

I hope everyone learned their lesson this time though. Posts and photos can't be trusted as proof, only videos can. No video evidence = Fake. I need to see the 10gb install screen for the whole duration before I believe in some random dude on the web.

I found a copy on the bus.

Playing it right now, it has Porsche and Spa, and all F1 cars from the 2009 season and you can get out of your car mid race and carjack other people.

And if you crash hard you fly out of the front windscreen.

There are also cops who chase you when you go into free roam mode.

I was given a choice between some steamed cabbage for dinner or gt5 for free so I went for the cabbage.

But if it were going to be released soon, they should have tv adds and on PSN. There is nothing there! At least not here, in Sweden/Europe.
 
The game is not hyped now, not everyone reads news articles. Majority of people who buy it will be swayed by advertising imo.

GT4 didn't get mass hyped until the week leading up to the release. Just wait until the Launch Party in Madrid. From there up until the game's release, there will be a plethora of information. I'm sure the Track and full car list will be unveiled a couple days before like GTPSP.
