Just watched the intro.. Oh my god.. blown away. So amazing, the words I want to use to describe it will get me some infractions, so well done PD. I'm not going to even bother buying NFS. I'm waiting for GT5. This is amazing. I know I said I wouldn't watch the intro if it were released on the net before the game but I thought "bugger it.. I'll just watch it anyway". Now all we need is the game itself.

Also, 7 mins for an intro? wow.. must have taken them 4 and a half years just to do that alone.

Ehhh, don't get me wrong. I was kidding more than anything, but darnit, I am back to playing GT and GT2, just because I've played GT5P/GT4 into the ground. My need for a new fix overides any desire to watch a 7 minute intro. It'll still be there in a week, after the PS3 freezes, and I have to reboot. :sly:
 
If I remember correctly, the auto guy in GT4 also drinks the oil. In fact they look exactly the same...

Just ordered the G27 specifically for GT5(and my wallet is hurting a ton because of it), now it's Sony's turn to actually release the damn game.



Hopefully everything gets leaked, serves Sony right for pretending the game doesn't even exist. I still can't believe that we haven't heard a damn thing from Sony about the release date since they announced the delay :/

I got the G27 earlier this year for GT5, trust me the wheel is great, and will still be in a year's time when i return home and get to play GT5, so trust me you guys are getting it sooner then me!

I hope that the G27 is fully compatible though, and that the clutch works well within the game. Im sure once its released ill hear about if it does or doesnt work well.
 
Why hasn't anyone mentioned the things in GT Auto yet? Like the rim selection, body kit, tune ups, etc?

giv these guys time to play it, so they can give us some more info on stuff they unlock and plus the body does need sleep
 
In the Snow video, I saw there was a high-beam indicator under the gear indicator!
 
I kind of hope there is a way to alter the HUD, its so crowed.
 
Since I can't read through the hundreds of posts today, does anyone know how this guy got a copy of the game?

Wow. It's true. Sony got the Intro video as well as the trophy lists pulled.

Not that they aren't already all over the internet, but at least Sony is somewhat paying attention. Maybe they'll actually give us a release date today.

edit: track list now censored as well. Looks like they're having Jordan take pretty much all the leaks off the front page. Only took them 12 hours to respond...
 
lol.... Sony have finally got wind of the video's and have asked Jordan to "remove" the Intro and Trophy list video, though they're still on Youtube... matter of time I guess till they're also removed.

Hehe, estimated 50 minute install + 7 minute intro + 6 years of waiting = 3153657 minutes too long of a wait.

Glad I went ahead and watched it instead of waiting. I think it could have been better for sure. The first half ticked me off. Waste of time IMO. I thought it was the ending for a second. Instead of re-watching the intro on release day, I can now spend that 7 mins obtaining licenses.

But its not. Demo=Prologue. They just worded it differently. Prologue isn't even half of GT1 which still makes it 5+ years and counting. Prologue was a tool to grade and improve on by listening to what fans wanted.

The wheel was $340 CDN (incl tax), it better be great for that price lol

But yeah, I seriously can't wait to try it out with GT5, I heard all of Logitech's wheels will be fully compatible, it would be an epic fail if Logitech's flagship wheel was only partially compatible.
 
Everything has been censored as of my post. Watched everything but the intro video, refreshed the page and now its all censored.

Its okay Sony. Nothing is ruined. I am looking forward to seeing what official word comes down in the next week or two.
 
Hah, love how Sony waits until now to take the videos down. Too bad since I'm sure many people already got the videos downloaded (like me). Not fast enough :sly:
