Interesting. I doubt its true though. What is the source of this if you don't mind me asking.

One curious thing though, the rear of the case say's FW 3.30 required which is odd when medal of honor last month required FW 3.41.........

& sony released ver 3.50, which is said to be the reason of the delay. Maybe something was cause of the delay.

Just heard an interesting rumour and im sorry if this is old news.

As you know those who are playing GT5 are saying there is no access to the online content. Well i've been told this is because it isn't on the disc and the online features of GT5 will have to be downloaded. This is rumoured to be 9GB!

Apparently the reason for this is the online aspect of GT5 was removed and only those who are running FW 3.50 can access this online content.

Can rumors "feel" credible? That one does. :) (considering the release date delay and rumors floating around it was because of something to do with 3.50 requirement from Sony to combat piracy)
 
Also can someone with the game answer this question about the prize ticket system:
Do you actually get a ticket for a unique car that can't be obtained anywhere else or just a random ticket or what?

Can people please quit posting in massive print?It is rather annoying and i don't know about anyone else but i am more apt to not answer the question when it is posted with unnecessary large print

Not long now, not long, i can't bear this anymore.

just been on a few forums, and the hype is starting to build big time, although many have actually now gone into arguments about the std/premium (non)fisaco. i can't see why people can't see that 200 premiums cars is loads more than any other ps3 game , and what several ps3 games have all together, the other 800 are a great great bonus.

Also the main longevity of the game is going to be in the variety/ customisation/content in the online side. Im hoping to hear something about gymkhana or stunt mode mentioned by the sony executive a few weeks back.


would be nice to have a huge reveal unknown content in the run up to launch.

It has been confirmed that we get 20,000 credits to start. Not sure on cars though.
 
am i the only person worried about how fast people with game are playing though. i swear people are getting to level 20 within a week, and there are only 40 levels to achieve :-S

It probably slows down a LOT after a certain point. Level 39-40 is probably 2 weeks by itself.

Not to mention that you can probably get to Level 40 and still not have 100% completion. You also have to do both A and B spec. I wouldn't worry about the play length. I think it'll be plenty long.

same here i heard about that in another forum im hoping it somthing to do with more tracks or dlc every month like forza
 
i'm still guessing what version i'll be getting, i pre ordered a special edition but don't know if they mean CE or SE

As with previous GTs, the real game doesn't start until you've unlocked everything.
