Gran Turismo is one of the main sponsors for Le Mans since the GT3 times iirc.
And GT4 had two 24h Le Mans races.


I need to check if they already had these GT ads before, but theyre in the chicanes (and other places) since ages. The Gran Turismo/PlayStation Pescarolo car from GT4 exists in real life too and Pescarolo is still sponsored from Sony with PS & GT.

Last year Pescarolo also had one of those diesel-powered Peugeots at his disposal covered with GT-decals whilst the official Peugeot works cars were sponsored by X-box 360, unfortunately the Pescarolo car hit one of the official cars in the pit-lane and was forced to retire.

Guess the whole Forza/ GT debate even takes some nasty turns IRL.:lol:

What if PD was spending time making box set material, they are actually really good at making videos as it can be seen on GT TV. Also can GT5 be the first game to be released that is boxset only?

Sony has a rule that tells developers they cannot have their own game case design, except for the generic BD case with developer's own paper insert? Maybe this will change with GT5 and GT5 is working on more off-game stuff for the complete GT experience, not to mention additionally perfecting in-game stuff.

Maybe we going to see something really great.

The red and blue things look to have a brighter white to the ends. You can see the disc case is a bit more "gray" in appearance. Leads me to believe that they are books/manuals.

What if PD was spending time making box set material, they are actually really good at making videos as it can be seen on GT TV. Also can GT5 be the first game to be released that is boxset only?

that is also from like 2 years ago, isn't it? Kind of way too soon of a thing to have manuals and packages sorted out half way through game development.

^^ Completely agree with facepalm guy, we're caught on a situation in which we don't have any real info regarding the release date, that's why people speculate and elaborate crazy theories to justify the waiting. We're waiting so much because PD wants everything perfect and representing their vision of an immaculate and perfect game from almost every aspect. Accept that and tranquilize yourselves, when the game comes out you just play it, meanwhile go enjoy life.

Back on topic, no more news? No more interviews or unseen details on screenshots? That's why I visit this forum everyday, we have eagle eyed users that can see with their eyes what I can't see with a microscope.

Just 3 weeks until we get the next (hopefully new) trailer for gt5. I hope that the buyers of god of war 3 put it on youtube as soon as possible.

WOW!! All yhose pictures look amazing. I just want this game to come out quickly so I, myself can witness this magnificence.
 
Note in the 2nd pic - way better trees on Indy ;)
There are actual branches and stuff...

had a quick in car look at the Demo Indy replay and the trees are way different on that back straight!
