Ok, but we still do not have a source for where this came from. So yes, it's obviously a joke.
Yes, and I did have a peek at some of them briefly when I was tooling around in it last year. I have a feeling the F1 mods smoke anything Codemasters can come up with, other than graphics, but we'll see.Do you know rFactor has mods...??....a lot of them....!!! check rFactorcentral
Does the ECCI pedals + G25/G27 wheel work on PS3 or just PC only?
I like how it says "Complaints" instead of "Posts". April FOols!

This is a bit depressing... no one cares about GT5, at all!
The Arles Car games will finally landed on our consoles!
The information was disclosed by the Japanese magazine Famitsu in its April issue: Gran Turismo 5 will be officially put on sale July 14 in France, a true liberation!
It leaves us more than 3 months and a half waiting for the release of THE big year simulation! Famistu also announced further surprises. There will be 1,200 cars made available and apparently, very advanced stages of preparation, contests an Internet multiplayer revolutionary ... For the moment we do not know much more, Sony seems to keep the suspense until the end.
I feel that the evenings will be very long from mid-July!
The Japanese themselves, will have the game from June 23, the lucky ones
Well, it is April 1st, so something like this is to be expected:
Google translated from French. Famitsu is a respectable japanese magazine, so maybe someone in Japan can get hold of the April issue and check if this is a big joke or not.

Well, this lines up with SONY folk in Europe dropping hints about news coming "soon." And I'd expect a few more cars would be modeled as well. What I'm hoping for most with this delay though is for some more classic tracks to be wedgied in. Maybe a few real ones too.![]()
Polyphony Digital Inc is pleased to announce that Gran Turismo 5 will launch with full PlayStation Move support.
Gran Turismo 5 is set to be the most immersive instalment yet, giving players the chance to feel what it would be like to control some of the worlds most exotic cars.
Gran Turismo 5 will be bundled with a limited edition wheel which will house the PlayStation Move, and combined with the PlayStation Eye will deliver 2010s most authentic driving experience.

Due to these additions, we will be pushing back the launch date of Gran Turismo 5 to coincide with the release of the PlayStation Move.
Whilst we acknowledge that this is a disappointment to fans of the series, it is necessary to provide the level of polish seen in previous games.
Also an April joke??

Yeah i dunno about this.. nothing really seems to add up here.. Im thinking an Aprils fool joke so dont get ya hopes up!
maybe im being over optimisticbut this could be true. when the march release was delayed was it not said that it'd be a few months later? and also in the Australian PS mag, they have had seemingly pointless articles (large ones) on GT5 for a few months now, and they keep saying there's more in the 'next issue' teaser. could they be waiting for a Sony/PD go ahead to let loose? anyway i pray to god that this is real.
New smilies FTW![]()
Yeah true. July 14th release is impossible, at least in France...Actually, probably that French website is the April Fool's day originator. July 14th happens to be the French national holiday (like the 4th of July in the US).![]()
Nothing wrong with some positive thinking! Hell if it wasnt for positive thinking we would have given up years ago!
