Well the cover looks pretty legit.

I just can't believe that it would be that soon.

For a chain like Game to put something in the window of their stores like that though is a bit odd. They are pretty reputable.

Website dates are one thing, but in the window is a bit different. Mind you anyone could have made this and put it in any window I suppose.

Can't see that its a game store on the picture.

Interesting capture here. Not the Subaru, but the EVO on the top of the screen. Looks like a street car with some graphics applied...

Yeah same as in prologue.
Traction control, how many power to which axle in 4WD cars (thats new and awesome), stability control etc.
 
My point exactly. It's a GAME poster and not a Sony one. Thus not official, thus not containing the official release date.
 
umm....anyone else notice that the "release date" is in the middle of the Tokyo Game Show? Perhaps by "out" they mean more details are coming out...

But I don't get my hopes on these things anymore until it's official.

When is TGS anyway? It starts the 24th? Perhaps on the 24th they make it official, release date is 25th lol.

Retailers have no relation with announcements made at conferences or game shows, their business is to sell stuff. Either it is true or it is a hoax.

EDIT: Does any one know the exact date of SONY conference at TGS?

TGS is September 24th-27th.

EDIT: Checked out the TGS website...no mention of when the Sony Press Conference will be, but it does mention that the 24th and 25th will be the Business Only days.

Ok, thank you. So it must be the 24 or 25. It's the last weekend of September, Thursday to Sunday.
 
Maybe there will be a buyable demo there... highly doubt it though.

OWAIT.

this makes sense! A PS STORE DEMO ON 24th.

24th is a thursday, which is when they update the store, so it sort of adds up a bit.
