What Kaz said on his twitter :
,,Edited together material for overseas promotion "Gran Turismo 5 E3 2010 Trailer" seems to have published what is said. , But we made the official E3 trailer GT5 I will release the first day."

although it's a google translation,
I think he has a new trailer that he will show the first day..(press conference probably)

Man! He just won the Geek of the Year 2010 award!

Funny the number of people just hovering over the GT5 section waiting for any little bit of info. With two days to go, it's going to explode.

R1600Turbo-> I can see GTPlanet's bandwidth exceeds in a moments time and will be down for a bit, if that happens. :indiff:

Pic from Le Mans booth - looks like Nascar

First pic still shows a bit of the montage animation from the nascar trailer, so I guess that's what's playing on the screen there.

I'm guilty of this.

Edit by mod - looks like I need to quote myself again

If you wish to ask any questions, or make any posts regarding the race, please don't make them here. This thread is about Le Mans in GT5. We have a thread where the race can be discussed here. Thanks.

Jordan is more than prepared I'm guessing considering it was a similar situation last year.👍

How about not posting spoilers about a race in the GT5 section?

Agreed.

I often have to watch F1 races hours after the rest of the world might, and if I saw similar news here, in regard to the race I hadn't watched yet...

Great sentiment, but how about not quoting it? Just gives me more posts to edit...

I've been really patient waiting for video footage of GT5 from Le Mans but now my head is starting to hurt.

Same here :ouch: I hope something pops up today

Stuff will start showing up later today after everyone at the race goes home.

Gah, sorry. Thanks for editing my post.

I'm on it. There, done the relevant stuff.

Pretty cool high-res pic:

Recap:
- Little show with Loeb racing on the GT5 demo alongside Jordan Tresson, winner of the GT Academy. Loeb did 3'33 and Jordan did 3'27
- Only one circuit, Le Mans
- Only one car Peugeot 908
- Only setting you could change is the racing line and transmission
- They note their spun out on their first corner (lol) After a few laps they're accustomed to it and say it feels really nice
- The sense of speed is very present as well as the braking feeling
- Very good sense of the G force even if it's virtual
- On the graphics side of things as usual, everything is impeccable
- PlayStation guys there on site said the build was "latest code, fresh one from the night"

Rest is PlayStation move stuff...

Nice one Alba, just looking at the pics it doesn't look like the Move stuff on that is GT related. Looks like the usual mini game collections.

Hopefully something else in there though.

Very thorough recap. Seemed to confirm a lot of what we already knew though.

-Demo contained one car (908) and one track (la sarthe)
-Had good impressions of the game as well

Not so many options, even if we could toggle the suggestion path and the automatic / manual gearbox. First turn, head-to-tail. It leaves well. We start again, cautiously. It goes a little better, but this is not it. After two or three laps, one begins to take its brands to better dose the brake, and it helps. In the end I finished in 3:37 with less than a dozen times in his hands. If the grip is not obvious at first, got used to it quickly, and the pleasure comes.
At the level of sensation, all the faults of the circuit are transcribed, the printing speed is there and the feeling of braking. The car literally plunges and we really feel like they take the G in the head, even if this is only virtual. Very good then.
Regarding implementation, there is nothing to say about the little we have seen, except that the damage was not taken into account in this version. Version that is, persons with PlayStation present on the stand, the last, "encoded in the night."

In the end, what little we have seen looks promising, the opposite would be surprising and especially unbecoming studios Polyphony Digital...

The release date of September 2010 has been neither confirmed nor refuted, personally, I would build instead on a trip to Christmas, but this is only my opinion.

As a reminder, 1000 cars and 60 circuits are provided.

As you guys can probably tell, I do not speak French, it was done by Google Chrome.

Edit: Alba is going to do a legit translation.

Once the stand open to the public ...

Thanks man!
Not much there though. Very limited and promotional stuff...oh well, E3 is here!:)

p.s. what's that in the gravel? or is it just a dirty TV?:p

It's the shadows of the cones that he's hitting that have gone airborne.

Edited my post, should be good enough, let me know otherwise :D

Thanks for the translation. Hopefully that sign of easy spin on first corner was more than just lack of previous use of the game, but tire temperature (which i think is a very important inclusion) as well.
