Some european versions of gran-turismo.com are now up.

Interesting to note that whilst the Jp and US sites seem to be promoting GTPSP in the main header, the UK site cycles between PSP, GT5P and GT5 (with HKS CT230R).
 
What are your thoughts about Uncharted 2?
It's supposed to come out the 23th of Oktober, but now its coming 1 week early on the 16th. Does that have anything to do whith GT5? I have a strong feeling GT5 will be released at the beginning of November.
 
Hm, interesting... We'll see in about 12 hours hopefully... But the late October release date of GT5 could be the reason for U2 being pushed a week forward.

Wouldn't Sony have known the two games being too close released, long time before U2 has been pushed forward?

Yeah they would... But imagine if they released U2 and GT5 in the same week/day. Everyone would buy GT5 and some of us with a tight budget would not be able to afford 2 games at once. Then moving U2 a week forward works, people can buy U2 and then when they get paid a week later can buy GT5 (a lot of people in the UK get paid weekly). That would make sense.

Actually, 77% of the employed UK population get paid on a monthly basis.
 
It has nothing to do with GT5 it's coming out early in the US and the EU targeted date was like 2 weeks or so after and they brought it up closer. I think it was like 13/23 and now it should be 13/16 if i'm not mistaken :)
 
Oops, I meant 23 percent of course. And I don't think that anyone of the employed UK population is unemployed :)
 
You know in GT mode from GT3, you could go to settings in home who here wants this GT5 ?.This could include the TG Test Track, maybe a few drag strips, complex string etc.Also when the cars are idling on the grid i hope they shake, rock & some of the sportscars & tuned cars exhausts pop & bang when revving or driving, that would be good.Rally cars like the WRC 22B Impreza pop and bang almost constantly.
 
Want to know what sucks...Not that this game is going to be released in god knows when or that some of modeling is questionable... NO... what really sucks is that Forza fanboys are going to have a field day. Maybe that Forza guy *cough, douche bag, cough cough* was right.

BT-> In most cases, I would think that this delay is beneficial to most of us. Because PD learned a tons of lesson in the past (notably its rushed release of GT2, and looked what happened).
 
Im buying gt psp next week, I really don't care when gt5 is released. As far as people saying delay, what was the original release date that made it a delay?
 
^ Its the wait that sparked everything. People are not that patient enough; I commend Duke Nukem fans thou. :)

The statements that said "We can release the game whenever we want." and "It will be released soon after the PSP version." and when prodded for more, Kazunori smiles unctuously. "Soon."

The guy is a brilliant politician. The next thing they'll say in February is "More news will be announced at the TGS later this year..."

The devil has patience, they say.

Don't forget "March 2010" is not a release "date" either.
