I hope interviewers slip in steering animation question even that i know i am the only one interested :D

So what is it? An hour and thirty minutes left until the Conference starts?

Hei Guys, sorry for the OT!I already saw this video(Suzuki circuit) and I noticed that they made a little change in the first corner!
Look at 9:15

They made the corner wider? That's what it looks like anyways... The refresh looks nice.

The basic corner shape is the same, only it has been repaved (half the circuit was repaved) and the sand trap has partially been replaced by tarmac runoff. The upgrade was done a few years ago, so it's not really anything new. The pit building and paddock area also got an upgrade (not sure about grandstands). Hopefully these changes make it into GT5.

If they are trying to keep the graffiti on the Nurburgring up-to-date just before release date, I’m sure they’ll bother to do an update for a major home racing circuit. :)

That's what I've been hoping. 👍

I hope the GT5 conference is longer than these EA games titles...

but this EA sports active 2 was...

90 minutes until Sony press conference

Anyone else notice for the first time in an NFS games the sounds were not good at all. The GT3RS sounded very distorted. Maybe it was the conference audio. The game looked like a lot of fun though. In fact most of EA's games looked pretty good.

There is no GT5 conference, the Sony conference will have the same lenght (or maybe even a bit shorter) than the EA one. The major GT5 news will most likely follow in the next couple of days (interviews, show floor demo, screenshots etc.).

When exactly does the conference begin? I have to prepare an amazing pasta dish and I'm cutting it close :)

It's on the previous page of this thread, on the first page of the Gamescom thread and on the latest post on the news page

One hour and seven minutes.

For those of us in North America, this thing starts at 10am PST, 1pm EST.

Edit-

What's going on? The countdown timer on 1181 says its starting in an hour and 5, the one a few pages pack says 9am.

This is way too much to deal with this early in the morning!

Isn't it just. :),But all I NEED is hard evidence of the Euro release date, Anything else is a bonus for me.:)

Assuming this wasn't a conference/broadcast audio issue, it could be that this is Criterion's first outing with real-world cars. If they are keeping with their general philosophy their top priority might be to make sure it is fun and then work out the finer details as they go.

No seriously my windowsill is covered in water because of this storm.

TV is gone, I will die if the power/internet goes just as Sony's press conference is on :(

Don't forget about the smaller, "private" GT5 press conference we'll be covering tomorrow.
