But more pointless because since there are no livery\aesthetic modifications we know of, the cars would basically be just tuned with settings\parts that we can all get in the game without going online.

Unless we get what we've been told we are probably not gonna get, and even at that wouldn't selling the Livery for say 2K Cr be enough, instead of buying the whole whip with who knows how many miles or what kind of treatment it got (cuz Kaz said it would affect the car in the long run) for its full price+customization charges?

Interesting. I wonder if this is Nationwide and if its just Best Buy or if its happening at say the local Gamestop as well.

They locked the thread though since everyone was hating. I'm swinging by my local best buys tomorrow just to see if they got it yet.
 
I'm going to check out my local best buy tomorrow morning. If there is the demo there, I'm going to be there for a whole hour, just playing this.

Hah small world. I saw Dan back at Import Alliance in July.. But I mean, what other meets are there in Florida anyway?
 
Imma call Best Buy near my place in Montreal see if theyt have it i could get 720p video, however from experience, best buy demos dont usualy have sound, and if they do its drowned by the TV and stereo demos.

just take the hard drive out, perhaps it is less noticeable for that shop! then share the demo with us please!! :)

i hope we in europe/germany get a demo in a few weeks too! :(

Haha, a group of mates all with small cars darting around that small track - awesome fun!

I'm really hoping that a decent LAN mode is implemented, because in one of our old offices there are eight individual "pods" each with a network point and a 23" 1080p monitor on the desk. They are used by visitors mainly, but we have been told that on a weekend a group of us could bring out PS3s into work and have a LAN gaming session, making full use of the free coffee and vending facilities :D We haven't quite convinced management to actually buy eight PS3s and eight copies of the game yet, but we are working on it!
