That Lambo looks like a ripe banana, or it's been set on fire.

It's premium. The lighting is off.

The dash on the 69 is angled\sloping towards the driver, making it very dark and hard to see with those analog gauges in dark\low light conditions, who designed these things???!!

Back in the day it was state of the art and those gauges were so great to look at. They are huge.

Wheres the meaty sounds for this 69? All the time spent on premium models and no sounds? I dread to even here the standard car sounds.

The Vette sounds horrible. The biggest complaint about GT5 are the Sounds, and is no better sounding then GT4..Unbelievable. Anyone who thinks that V8Vette sounds the least bit realistic has never been around cars. It's not Youtubes fault either lol.

Take it to the sound thread, please.

Someone should explain to me those smooth shadows in the cockpit...it's the first time I see them

Scratches are good, but if they are placed wrong (upside instead at the side) and so dark, this would be annoying for me, sorry.

New build damage: deformation+scratches:tup:

Check out 2:45, super smooth and light shadows, with a shaky cockpit when you crash.

Looks like a new build with no Skidmarks. Rather than the other way around.

Very silky.

I think we need a gif of that ;)

Can you provide some screens to compare? If I remember in last review from InsideSim shadows were not smooth.

WOW to the new soft shadows. everyone pretty much knows this anyways but this game will end everything! it seems like all of my gripes have been covered. i know some poeple dont feel the same as me, but the game is starting to just look, feel, and sense perfect.

The shifting animation seems to be much faster in the C4 now too?

:drool:there is a windshield marking on the down-right corner.

I could be wrong, but wasn't there some discussion that the edges were harsher or softer depending on the track--the difference usually having to do with the number of objects capable of casting a shadow on the car?

4 days and we will know for sure 👍

I just hope that the shadows are smooth for the exterior view as well (and for the replays). The tree shadows were highly aliased before, hope to see them improved in the final build.

The smooth shadows could just be an illusion of the low quality videos.

Low quality or not, you can tell the shadows are much better and smoother than they were from InsideSimRacing's hands-on coverage.

How quickly people forget, huh?
Nice find for you, Dingo and great attention to detail (as always) for PD.

I never noticed that :dunce:

They also had that little mark on the windscreen in prologue. Specifically on the Clio V6.
