Man I love PD
Always wanted the V12 Vantage and the Aventador!
As a Mini owner I'm very happy to see the Mini Countryman and it paves way for the Mini WRC car (if the WRC happens this year)

The beetle is great, if only we had a livery editor to make it look like Herbie :D

I hope the DLC is cheap.

I don't. If it's the 15 mile or so long oval like it looks, then a race there would be pretty boring. If there's an awesome road course or a stunt area/play ground, then that's different, but a 15 mile oval race would be dull.

I guess you don't like to go 300+ mph in a pack of 16 cars. Some of do. Many of us like to go as fast as we possibly can in a straight line 1/4 mile. Not my cup of tea, I don't think the all out fierce power of NHRA top fuel drag racing speed can be represented well in video games.

I guess some think Olympic sprint races are boring too. All they do is run in a straight line or do an all out lap around a boring oval. Yes, watching goobers jog around an oval track for 15 laps or so can be monotonous. I suppose it's exciting for those entrenched in the battle though.

Would someone mind highlighting on the track image where this 15 mile oval is? Or are you just going by the NSX video?

If I had to guess, I assume the Acura NSX Concept is not listed amongst the DLC simply because it will be given away for free with the 2.03 update. This is exactly how we got the Toyota 86 with the 2.02 update for free while there were other cars available as DLC.

As long as this time they price it FAIRLY for Australia, then yes, it'll be worth it, we're basically getting 1 car in this pack - the Aventador, so if they make it 5 bucks, ok, 7 bucks, you're a bunch of *****, but ok.

PS: Looks pretty '3d mad modeling rendered w/ bad ass engine/shopped to me. lol

Probably because i've played with the Aventador so much at this point in Forza 4, that I don't really care about it, but the rest of the pack is actually really good. The '66 VW Beetle is what i'm looking forward to the most.

Drafting would be insane on this track.

600 km/h with a couple of Red Bulls??

Edit: And regarding photoshop/rendering stuff, I can assure you that this is not the case here. Those pictures are from PD for sure, there is no way anyone could fake pictures like that. Unless they actually modelled the cars themselves, which takes quite a lot amount of time. And not only that, the person would need to recreate the exact photo location that PD uses and would have to use the exact same field of view, reflections, light sources etc. It can be done, but for a private person it would take a year and probably $ 10 000 worth of software, hardware and sheer time. If this is fake, then someone has an expensive hobby...

Thank you!

And outstanding work PD 👍 , this looks like the best DLC pack out of any game Ive ever bought.

I was Just Thinking when will we get The Aventador Yesterday .

Still will wait for confirmation though .Oh and We have our first Standard to Premium Convert Now (The Jag ? )

Edit:What isn't there is the Subaru BRZ,Honda HSVand the NSX Concept

Now with the DLC semi-confirmed, I wonder how much they will charge for the track and the cars.

$1 USD for each car ($6 total) and maybe $3 USD for the track? Then it gets even pricier with the Japanese Yen. GT5 DLC is eating my savings for GT6 collector's edition, but it's all worth it. :dopey:

Maybe there's an oval and a skidpad or more variations?
Anyway, personally I would have liked more detailed acceleration tests, not only 0-100 and 0-200 Km/h.
And what braking tests or handling tests?

Someone with knowledge in this field could do it it a couple of days (the car pics that is, not the track or menu)
(most of the time spent tweaking the shaders, textures and lighting to match PD's work).
$350 worth of 3d car models bought from shops, $0 dollars of specialist software and $1500 dollars of average enthusiast consumer computer hardware (which this person would have access to anyway)

I agree though, I can't imagine anyone would bother.

Hey,

Just a quick thought on the Mini Countryman. I know many of you think it is a strange pick BUT...and this is a big but; if the car can be race modified then we have on our hands another WRC car.

Just a thought to put out there.
Sorry if it's been mentioned before.

What I'm thinking as well.
