The picture for Grand Valley is actually the Nordschleife.

You mean the one with the bridge?

8576018_be5ff444e9.jpg

There's no such bridge on the Nordschliefe. The above pic is the Grand Valley. It's right after exiting the second tunnel.

"Posing" for the trailer, we also had cars driving through the scenery from Bad Neuenahr/Ahrweiler in GT5P, we could never drive there though and even if there are "only" 12 cars...

Yep, PD are masters when it comes to produce gorgeous trailers, we already saw that airplane pic on an old trailer, we saw a supposed wind tunnel in the FT-86 trailer and so on. Bern is probably a photomode location, just like venice and that citroen GT event they've held some months ago.

No, "Grand Valley" its on the list twice. ("Gran Valley" and "Grand Valley Speedway")

No way, man, Venice will be totally in the full game. We'll race along the streets on little rafts, it'll be so much fun

 rafting, the only way for a Suzuki Cervo to beat the F2007. :D

I know the difference! Its just that the picture for "Grand Valley" was from the Nordschleife, while "Grand Valley Speedway" has the correct picture.
But Grand Valley is the location and Speedway and the normal Track are versions of the track.

Add SSR-5 to the list, its in the night screenshots on the news page of gtp rite now, third picture

Its the first and second corners of the forward race i think, where you take a long right-hander through the tunnel

EDIT: never mind, i just saw its already confirmed, sorry

It would be cool to have a proper night track which is only illuminated by the cars headlights. I like the fact that the headlights appear to illuminate the car infront. I wonder if you'll be able to see the headlights of your own car in the reflection of the car in front as well.

The Madrid track was shown in the trailer at AGS.

I've already posted my 70 tracks a page or two back. But at this point, we're better of waiting. It does little justice to try to crack the code. It'll be revealed soon (I hope)! :)

....
I find it confusing that you say London Long is unconfirmed when it was confirmed by Yamauchi himself, but add tracks like Clubman Stage, we have no evidence that it will be in the game. And like mentioned, Madrid was shown in the AGS trailer.

Give me your source saying Yamauchi said there'd be a London Long and I'll edit the post. I saw Madrid just after my post, I'll edit it too. CSR5 and SSR5 were shown in the latest trailer.

Changed London long to confirmed and Grand Valley east to unconfirmed as we have yet to see footage of the links.

While it's pretty likely that CSR5 will be in GT5, that video/screenshot isn't really confirmation as we didn't see any cars using the CSR5 section of the track. CSR5 was visible in GT3 but not actually playable, exactly the same case for Grand Valley East.

the picture shows a barier on CSR5. I'd say that confirms CSR5 to be in GT5. However you may think whatever you do.

IGN: You've got a London track in Prologue that looks absolutely lush. We often fantasise about what course a London GP would take – how did you come up with the layout?

Kazunori Yamauchi: I come to London very often, and I've walked the streets and I know them, so that helped a lot. The course that we have in the game at the moment is actually half the size that we originally thought, it's a short course basically, so in Gran Turismo 5 we'll have the longer course in there.

Madrid:

This has probably been asked before but does anyone have a list of the names of all the tracks at the end of GT5P? There is about 27 tracks there which I assume would be ones they plan to include in the full version. Just would like to know what the names of these tracks are.

This has been asked several times, but not answered, so here you go: In order, all 30 track maps that appear in the ending movie for GT5P, confirmed using the maps available at the IGN GT4 guide.

1. Trial Mountain
2. Tsukuba
3. Tahiti Maze
4. Swiss Alps
5. Seoul Central
6. Seattle
7. Opera Paris
8. Motegi (speedway oval)

Now, I already have 70 tracks (refer to page 16). That's the easy part. I just have a hard time placing the fictional tracks into world locations. And note: There will likely be tracks from locations unknown to us today.

Hasn't it been said before that Daytona is a location and the oval and roadcourse are variations. That's what PD said so that's what we've got to use. Plus Spa, Silverstone Grindelwald, Suzuka west, Motegi, Fuji 80's, Seoul, Infineon, Laguna Seca (yeah, both of the Laguna Seca's you think exist), Watkins glen, Texas, New york, Las vegas, Hong Kong and all of the dirt tracks have yet to be confirmed At the same time you've left out many variations of multiple tracks. That's also why you haven't found all of the variations.

I've updated my list with images. Can anyone tell me what the track is that i've put question marks next to? Also, what is the track that I called Deep forest? It may be deep forest, its not nurburgring as someone has suggested before because there is a huge lake at the end of the track. Something is telling me that this track is from GT2 or GT3.

If i'm missing anything, or just plain got something wrong, post up an image or send me a link and i'll add it.

Although we don't know its name yet, you forgot the track I just posted above.

The track you put question marks on is still unknown, however, most GTP members thought it's a road somewhere in either Italy, or (more likely) Spain.

I'm pretty sure that's the Nürburgring...
