I'm just having some fun here, just so you know, I'm not overly serious about the issue.
not anymore lol. I dont remember the name but its is faster in acceleration and top end. Its made the U.S.A.
Although isn't the popular swap for an MX-5 the Ford 302 small block?
Yeah, but people would be likely get it better if "Corvette" was on the engine.

Yea, I saw an article in Top Gear's mag but couldn't find it online, it's SSC something. Car's a beast made specifically to beat the Veyron

Nismo34Not anymore, the Veyron SS beats that keeping the Veyron name with the world record title. Unless something else has come along that hasnt been alll over the place.
The Hennesy Venom GT (1200hp version) beats the Veyron to 200mph (IIRC) by 10 seconds...
I thought the Koenigsegg Agera R (the first one) held the record for 0-60, 0-60-0, 0-100, 0-100-0. Although I may be mistaken.
The 2013 model features new Aircore hollow carbon fiber wheels, uprated power and enhanced aerodynamics. The Agera R has an incredible top speed of approximately 440 km/h (273 mph).
Recent Records for the Agera R: 0-300 km/h in 14.53 sec, 300-0 km/h in 6.66 sec, 0-200 mph in 17.68 sec, 200-0 mph in 7.28 sec.
Nismo34I think you may be right, but seeing as Koenigsegg isnt as well funded as VW, they dont have a test track (They did those tests on a runway) with a straight long enough to test anything else like top speed, not officially anyway.
LOGAN8TOR88I wish VW would lend up that straight for Koenigsegg to test on. I'd love to see if they could reach its acclaimed speed of 275!
jtqmoparit's the ultimate aero, and I believe it's Steve Shelby (Carol's son opened his own garage)
I got that mag when I was in Scotland, gave me loads of reading on the way back across the lake
Top Gear Ultimate Aero article
jtqmoparYou're right it's Jerod and no relation to Carol. I could've sworn one of my mm&ff mags said Carol's son has his own shop too though
PupikI figured the memes were bad enough, but we have a Cars in General forum for actual car discussions which may or may not be in Gran Turismo 5.
Please stay on topic.
