GT5 One Hundredth of a Second Trophy

I'm trying to get this trophy at the minute and was wondering what the easiest way to acquire this trophy is. Thanks

Nascar Special event?
That's where i got mine.
The last race where you start last with two laps to go.

In general, Nascar is a good candidate, as the racing is close (drafting) and the speed is high through the start finish line (Daytona / Indy)

At Indy with FGT set up to go flat out all the way around. You can't help but get it. I did by accident not realizing there was a trophy for it. Now, if I could just get the 3 Vettel golds for Platinum!

It's been quite a while ago, but I think I did it in arcade mode, like this:

Select 2 player race, both use the same car, 1 lap race, DS3 controllers.

Bring car 1 up to almost at the finish line, stop and hold it there, then do the same for car 2.

Once you're happy that the cars are level, press accelerate on both controllers.

Should be a close enough race to pop the trophy.

I know there is a trophy for it but 1/100th of a second is nothing especially when racing at Daytona Superspeedway.

I've won races at Daytona by 1/1000th of a second. 👍

I did this as a combination event. I did a 2 player by myself using a Subaru and an Evo to earn the arch rivals trophy. Got to the end of the lap and lined both cars up at the finish line then pressed X on both controllers simutaineously and after a couple of attempts, hey presto, 2 trophys!

It's pretty easy on one of the first NASCAR events at Daytona, the one where you have to draft a couple cars and it ends on the back stretch. Doesn't take much time per attempt and if you use hood cam or chase cam you can judge how close you are to the opponent.

One of the first trophies I got - traded for an X1 a month after release and used it for grinding Indy for cash.

I get mine from the B-Spec American Championship, using the Ford GT Test Car (the white one)
In fact I think you can actually win without any time distance, if you are really lucky.

I got mine doing the Indy 500 endurance race. It is going to be easiest on one of the oval tracks or high speed ring. The more corners, the more chances fore error, and for this trophy there is no room for error.

I've won races at Daytona by 1/1000th of a second. 👍

I did this last night while dirty racing lol. I've also tied for first and have seen others tie for first. Good times .

I've only had 2 races end in ties placing me as the winner for 1 of them. I've also seen a 3 way tie but I was not 1 of the 3.
