GT5 Online

[Tattoo Stan]

I cannot figure out what the hell is going on online? Can someone recommend how I can get into the online racing, with some decent races please?

I am not very quick, so something for half-decent beginners would be good

Find a group of people to play with that go by a strict schedule and play at a certain time each day.

I'm sure there is a group like that on here on GTP.

This pretty much. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12

Although the people who joins any series are at least decent, it doesn't exclude you. Sure you will probably lose most of the time, but at least you do get practice with good competitors. Just read this https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111241. Obey it and don't quit! Just try to finish it is the least you can do. Have fun!

Search for rooms with SRF off, a decent number of racers & regulations to your liking.

Hi Stan. There are a number of good shuffle rooms online. Shuffle is great if you are new to online as you don't have to worry about car selection/tuning. As the cars are pre-selected you can just concentrate on driving a variety of cars with a variety of drivetrains on tyres that require you to understanding driving technique.

As you are in europe feel free to add me; we shuffle most nights from around 10/11pm GMT [after the pub and into the early hours of the morning at weekends].

Banter and racing go well together at 2am.

If shuffle is not your thing just spend some time in the public lobbies and you'll soon have a friends list full of good clean racers (if you yourself are clean and have reasonable social skills).

Alternatively there are many good racing leagues and clubs out there.
