GT5 Photo mode and B-spec

1. In gt4 we can shoot photo's from our cars, put them on a stick and do whatever we like with them on the PC.

How about GT5?

2. can we let the ps3 drive our cars in GT5?

We don't have the answer to this as the game and it's details haven't been announced yet. It is a good assumption though that you will be able to do both considering they were both popular features in the previous game.

The game drove the car for you and you acted as sort of a pit chief. It was handy for the 24 hour races since most people don't have that sort of time on their hands. You could also speed things up 3x's.

I really hope they bring b-spec back. I much prefer to drive most of the time but sometimes it was kind of neat playing crew chief and with such beautiful graphics this game isn't that hard to just sit back and watch in the 3rd person.

B-Spec should be back, but with more options. Something simular to BAT-Racer when you have aggression, cleanness , etc sliders.

I forgot about when exactly I heard of the C-Spec mode before.. which the player acts as an audience and watches the races on the grand stand. :lol:

For B-spec, I do want the option of switching drivers (from B-Spec driver back to myself) when getting into pits. I knew that this was already an option for the NTSC or PAL copy of GT4, but I can't experience this because I owned the Traditional Chinese (Asian) version of the game.

The bad part was,when the car pitted,it went back to 1x. Really wish if there was a "B" spec mode in GT5 , it would stay at 3x after pitting.

Photomode was great and I'd love to see it back, especially with GT5s graphics. I'm not all too fussed with B-Spec as it currently is in GT4, it needs some improvements as NoxNoctis Umbra said. Although, I'd be happier if we had no B-Spec and replaced it with the ability to save during races.

I would say photo-mode is in since some photos have an icon for "Gallery" on the menu.

No B-spec would be awful, I am not going to commit 24 hours of gaming to finish one race.

In B-spec mode, the "driver" was horrible, but it was useful for the 24 hour races. However, I prefer Jackington's idea about saving during some of the longer endurance races. That way, when we finish the 24 hours of lemans, we actually drove the distance, not had our playstations drive the race.
I also liked photo mode, and it would be great to see photos of your favorite cars in HD in the new GT5.

if the photomode does come thru, i wonder how big the image files would be. and i hope they would be better than the pgr and tdu counterparts. even ferrari challenge got in on the act, but it's not as good.

It wouldn't be too bad if you have GT fanatic friends who are totally up for a weekend of racing. Imagine having 2 of your friends over and the 3 of you switch off whenever you pit. One can take a nap while the other keep the driver company and switch off that way. Ok, that sounded really good in my head but now that I'm typing it out, it doesn't sound too appealing. :lol:

That's the only thing that's annoying me right now, it's not that we have to wait, it's that we have to wait without them telling us anything. We haven't heard of new cars getting in the game since the last Prologue update, there've been no new screenshots, no additional feature announcements, no official release date planned, nothing at all

There might be a official release date planned, PD just never anounce things, why exactly this is I don't know. I am just as frustrated, but there is nothing you can do about it but wait.

Don't they realise that they're making a racing game, and the fans generally like going fast, therefore have little patience? :sly:

Just a few small details would be nice.

The links are for the original ones. They are huge resolution pics.. when they enlarge pics like that maybe some particular is not that nice but the cars are wonderful I think.
