GT5 Photo Stream - Good Idea?

PD has no idea what they're missing not adding a livery editor to the game. There are artists all over the world too you know.

That's one of the options that Kaz has hinted at in the past. He mentioned a feature that was simply too big to include as a download, but they are trying to develop. Could be a livery editor, or the long-lost YouTube feature, or a better Track Creator.

Plus, they've been known to stop by GTPlanet from time to time. Trust me, PD knows. How they react to that knowledge doesn't always please everyone.

That feature, the ability to please everyone all the time, will be on display at this year's E3.

I do indeed trust you McClarenDesign. :) And that's I believe as well. Something kept telling me all of that would appear, and it may just happen in this year's E3. *v*

Time for a bump.

Worth it? Not so sure. Checked it ONCE since it was introduced.

In my opinion, it is another unnecessary feature for a driving simulator. In time, sure, it could be a cool feature. I believe GT5 is broken in many areas and photo mode is surprisingly not one of them. There are SO many features that should be worked on before a GALLERY OF USER-TAKEN PICTURES.

If GT5 had a livery editor, then it'd make photostream 10 times better. But GT5 doesn't. And neither has 4, 3 2, 1, etc.

It's 2012, right?

I bet you wish you could take that back. :scared:

I bet you didn't notice that was a joke, aimed at people who are, and never will be pleased (possibly like you).

Those are fighting words! :grumpy: But I'm no fighter.

And, of course, I can be pleased, especially when something pleasing arises.

Sorry, I know that was a tad harsh, you just prashed it in such a manner I felt it was somewhat appropriate.

Perhaps, but I still will defend my statement.

I think GT5's in-game photomode is fine and maybe PD didn't lose/spend much time creating the Photostream, but I can definitely argue it could have waited.

If GT ever sees a livery editor, Photostream would make even more sense, especially if there's a competition for best picture or best livery design.

But as of today, Photostream is just a dump for random photos. How much time is a gamer going to spend on a site looking at photos instead of driving/racing? Ask yourself that question.

Priorities.

Especially completely random ones. Most people want to look at the best ones, or the ones people rate highly. None of that is possible with the stream, it's just random. Nobody wants random.

Exactly. I edited my previous post to say that it could be BRILLIANT if there's a competition or rating system like we see in Midnight Club: Los Angeles.
