Anyone out there ever though about making a GT5 podcast or found one? I've been looking for a good one or some co-hosts to do one with.

Thought about it, but I don't like the sound of my voice, so I dismissed the idea. However, I'd still be interested in contributing.

Alright well I know that I would be at least half way decent but I need to get myself some equipment.

Has anyone put any thought into one of these?

I admit, you have me interested. A podcast for GT5 is brilliant and I would try to contribute to this idea. But there is a majority of gamer out there who would pick a Call of Duty podcast over a GT5 podcast, IMO. But for the Gran Turismo-loyal spectators, this would be one opportunity they would not want to miss. But for the record in case you want information from me to do the podcast, drop me a pm.

Still with the majority of people on here, they would listen. I have some ideas for people as well. I would like to be a host too, but I just want it so I can listen to it.

Have you any ideas of what it could contain?

Well we could have a team feature, where every week we pull on a different team and do a feature story on them with some live questioning. Leader of the team gets to be a guest.

A questions segment where people can email in questions.

A section where we talk about seasonals.

Tuning tips, a GT Academy type contest perhaps all done in-game, reviews, news regarding DLC/Seasonals/GT6...

I think there is a wide array of topics on which could be covered.

Completely agreed.

I know Tunerspit.com used to do a few, not sure if they still do.

I don't think they do. I searched for hours for any GT5 podcasts out there. I found none that were still running.

I have one of these...

... still kicking around somewhere. Could be useful, and very likely still has 15yo fart noises recorded

Back to seriousness, I'd be willing to lend some support. Not sure I'd want to be a host, or my voice heard for that matter, but behind the scenes I could be used. As in writing, research, general support, etc.

I have some ideas already:

-Inviting special guests/ GTP veterans for an interview

-'what not to do' sessions, as one person will demonstrate how not to be a good driver with good sportsmanship by being a complete jackass until the host kicks them. For this part we might need someone who would willingly act in such a manner instead of waiting for a random person to avoid a breach of privacy.

-testing out several tunes for one car and decides which one rides best

-free giveaways of paint chips and cars to any random person that tunes in

These are just a few random ideas.

Maybe someone running around the Top Gear Track?

I will listen, as I have searched before as well. I will donate tickets, paints, etc if you want to do a giveaway.

Maybe a questions submitted by listeners and the one you choose to read wins? Trivia?

All of the ideas you guys have come up with ate great.
You all have spots on the podcasts in any roles you want.

Okay we really need an audio master. Someone who can record the Skype conversations we have, and then edit them and make it sound professional.

I was envisioning 4 hosts, with 1 guest per episode.

Depending on what time it'll be, I might be available, to record.

The only worry for myself is school. I'm going into my last year of high school and my schedule is packed. And I don't know if I'll have a lot of free time. I want to be a host but don't know how much time I'll have come September.

I have school in September as well but I have all the time on my hands. Maybe if we got more people to help (and maybe try to make news in the news section) this can actually be successful.
