I haven't noticed this. I do play with a controller at the moment but my GT steering wheel is on the way.

If anything, I think GT5 is more realistic in every way and I think that 99% of the fans here will agree.

Get your steering wheel and you will see what I mean

If you own a gt specified steering wheel then you should know exactly what I mean if you have played gt5 prologue with it.

I never got around to try a whole lot of cars in GT5P, but overall I feel that GT5 is a surprisingly massive step up in terms of physics/handling.
I've played both with a G25 wheel.

Edit: To extend a bit on that, I feel that the cars in GT5 feel a lot more alive and responsive than the ones in GT5P. As I said though, I only have experience with a limited selection of cars from GT5P - and it's been some months since the last time I played it - so I could be wrong of course.

I'm talking about the real simulation of cars

Not wether your not crashing or crashing but the simulation / realism is the thing

Oh crap lol

This whole thing about the simulation is wrong

I just put back the standard suspension and it feels right now

Really sorry guys

Lol

gkt
I agree totally

Same for me.

I noticed one difference with the Integra, between the one in GT5P and GT5. When releasing suddenly the gas pedal in the medium turns (like the 2nd, 3rd and 4rd turn on Suzuka, the back of the car doesn't have the tendency to slide anymore, or just a little bit. The car seems to be a lot more equilibrate (stock cars, no tuning)

Where did I say anything about crashing?

My vocabulary - and knowledge of cars - unfortunately comes up a bit short if I were to attempt to describe the finer details of things like tyre modeling, corner grip, torque curves or slip angles, but I do have extensive experience with a wide range of PC racing sim from the last eight years or so (recently mainly iRacing and netKar Pro).

Lol

This thread's title does, albeit inadvertently, bring up a decent point, though. All of Prologue's cars were of current-generation standards, for a start.

No I just had a customized suspension that was hideous..
Just got it back to standard and problem is fixed
I am really sorry I've been playing with that suspension since I bought the car and that's the only 1 I've been using

Yes gt5 is better and improved

Perhaps I wasn't being clear enough. I was referring to the absence of Standard cars in Prologue.
