GT5 re-install

Hi,I recently installed my GT5 game data and ever since it hasn't stop freezing.
I'm considering deleting my game data and installing GT5 again.
Will this affect my save data and any DLC I have?

It might only affect the DLC*, I think. You might have to re-download it, (which is free) from the Store.

*It'll affect your savegame if you don't update to the version you saved it in (or a later one). And, of course if you delete it - which you SHOULDN'T do. Otherwise no, it shouldn't affect it, but just to be sure, I would recommended you to copy it onto an USB flashdrive, before you start off, if you haven't already done so 👍.

Game data and Save game data is entirely separate. DLC however will need to be re-downloaded from the store.

These are only 100kb files however - your main hold up will be redownloading patches.

So I just re-download the DLC,(for free of course) patches?
Also my game data was at 13GB and I installed the rest and ever since my game's been freezing,so maybe I should just delete the game data,download patches and see how I go?
Is there anything else I can do to stop my game freezing?

Cleaning your disc is a good start, if you're near the item limit (7,000) or garage limit (2,000) it can slow your game considerably.

Keeping your HDD fairly empty has improved my consoles performance as well, so if you're pinging off the cap it could be worth emptying your drive of liabilities.

Well I do have alot of items on GT5 and HDD has about 80GB of 320GB left.
My disc has a circular line underneath about half way in,so maybe its worn?
