GT5 Save Data Question

Merry Christmas all! Just a quick Question from me...

I know the Save Data is Locked to the PSN Account which is perfect, But I was just wondering as i've saved over £5.000.000 Credits now and I want to try out a few Racing Cars before deciding on one to keep, so my point is can I Save Data on a Memory Stick, try a few Cars on that Save, Once done Delete the Save off the PS3 and Transfer my Original Save with all my Credits back onto the PS3 and it would be back to the beginning again no problems? I'm just a bit hesistent of trying it incase my Save gets destoryed! lol

Yep, thatll work. Same process as duplicating cars.
 
AS an aditional safe guard after saving to usb drive i transfer the info from the usb onto my PC adding a date to the gamesave file header ie " gamesave 25/12/10" so i know when the save was taken
now we are permitted to back up save data i do this daily as i have no desire to lose hundreds of hours of effort
