It'll be a hit for sure. There's no other way. It's PD we're talking about.

Has anyone considered that static camera shots in replays that actually capture more than just your own car would be nice?

Randomized as well. I believe for the first lap in any race, it's the same camera shots. Maybe for every lap afterwards too.

The camera shots get so much better as the laps go on or just after the first lap. I watch too many replays to not notice that the camera shots are somehow better after the first lap. Watching replays of the ring gets kind of annoying because it wastes a lot of time with the same camera shots for the first 10 minutes.

It'd be nice if there was some kind of 'incident recognition' that would highlight an event in the reply while keeping the camera zoned in on any juicy battles.

I love watching a hard battle on replay but would like to see more of the field than just my car.

Youtube upload youtube upload youtube upload youtube upload youtube upload. Yeah. Im excited lol. PS: Im just thinking maybe its youtube upload don't hit me

FWIW, here's my track wishlist:

Spa (Eau Rouge is still one of the most challenging sections on any race-track)
Road America
Watkins Glen
Willow Springs (drove this in NFSS, great layout)
Macau F3 circuit
Sears Point/Infineon
Brands Hatch
Donnington Park
Mosport (I live 10 minutes away from the track and have watched Group C in the 80's and AMLS recently...wicked course)
Imola (with the old Tamburello curve, not the horrid chicane)
Sebring (seems logical, given that they have the Daytona Road-Course, Le Sarthe & Nordschleiffe)

I doubt PD is going to charge per-track, but I have no issues paying $5-10 for a 5-track pack.

Best,

Cale

It's going to be a long 3 weeks of hype if we have 18 pages of rumours and wild wishes on the first day. :D

Considering my love for this game, FREE updates are something I look forward to. It will be all good in my eyes.

Cannot see how it will be a failure at all...........

Me neither. But if my years at GTPlanet have taught me anything its that people here are serial complainers.:ouch:

looking forward to see what the update brings....anything will be good.

im wondering that i've noticed alot of updates coming in october and wonder if its to keep peoples interest in GT5 as BF3 is being released ???

"some people" ;) I love it.

Easy. GT fans always set their expectations too high.

I fully expect lots of complaining when it goes live.

that won't make it a failure, people complaining about GT5's post launch support need their head examined. Sure it really need a-spec content, but the support has been great.

Wow these are some freaking good news!

I think than Spec II could bring New events, new features (mid save in enduro, weather/day settings in offline, weather and/or night for other tracks, livery editor, more suits and helmets). New tracks and cars? mmm I'm not sure with the "after a week" DLC, but maybe they could give us the GT4 tracks and the unfinished cars (Honda HSV, VW Scirocco) and some standard to premium cars into the Spec II free update.

For the DLC my bet is:

New Tracks:
-Spa
-Hockkenheim

New Cars:
-BMW Series 1 M
-GTR 2012
- A bunch of ferraris and Mercedes
-Bikes

Porsche? I would say no, but you know I don't want to imagine what would happen if that became real XD

That's a joke right?

:odd:

My bet: Leaderboards, in-endurance saves, and support for additional tracks and cars via DLC. Note I said "support for" there. If we are lucky we might score proper replay controls too.

I HIGHLY doubt there will be much more aside form that in the update itself.

Spec II Patch Notes

-Fixed glitch where there wasn't enough helments/outfits
-Adjustments made to online connections

488MB

Need a-spec content after lvl 25-30 badly. So many cars why are so few utilized for events? Why isn't there some 20-30 lap enduros? The amount of races after lvl 30 is atrocious... Need more a-spec is what I am saying. LPOL.

Since my birthday's the third week in October it just became much easier to answer the 'what do you want for your birthday, Dad ?' question. I don't know if there will be any free dlc but you have to think there's going to be some you'll pay for.

My pie in the sky wishes are all the tracks missing from previous GT's and all the current F1 courses. The former is certainly easy enough but the F1 tracks are probably prohibited by licensing issues. Oh yeah, and all the cars ever produced in automobile history. And don't forget world peace.

How about some premium touring cars and FGT so that I don't have to compete in a career mode race in a standard?

My speculation: a 1~2.5gb patch with loads of patches and features that you didn't expect to see as an update.

... I mean online games gets those big updates too right? Then let's call this an expansion for GT5!

EDIT: fixed signature .. maybe

If they add 1000 more suits and helmets I would gladly take it. I have no control over what they do so any new items to collect are welcome by me.

Edit: As long as there is tons of other stuff as well.
