If they add 1000 more suits and helmets I would gladly take it. I have no control over what they do so any new items to collect are welcome by me.

Edit: As long as there is tons of other stuff as well.

I want new tracks, new cars and don´t want to pay for dlc.

There are a lot of things that I WANT but unfortunately I don't have.

Well, I'm hoping PD sort the issues that bug the hell out of me. And add some options to make the game more customisable and thus better.

I'll be very happy if they give us a proper feel of a racing weekend, practice, qualifying and a STANDING start race. (practice and quali to be skippable if desired).

Awyeah, that's what we need!

If PD can do something about the overly sensitive ABS @ 0 handling, I'd be a happy camper.

Tune slots
some new tracks, SPA is being called for, I'm good with that.
100 new licence challenges. Bring it!
some increased damage modeling, and flying parts.
Race with my Boobs, i mean Bobs
Disable autosave for every breath I take.
Really really penalize the online rammers, by 10s or more.
A Motorcycle challenge, just to test the engine out :)
more Expert Seasonals
imrpoved AI,
same physics all around. Online, offline, arcade, practice, Einstein's chair.
(optional:)Tune Arena, where we can tune in real time.
In game reports to tell us recommended tune / part adjustment, analysis.

Hmm... many do have high hopes this. But maybe it won't be all that big. Then again, someone said Forza 4 comes out a week before? Then it must be something big. Now to wait.

Whatever it is its going to have to involve some pretty radical and decent add ons to take my money away from the BF3+MW3 funds and get it!

21 pages and no one ever mentioned: Changing wheels on standards and PAINT them.

I have a feeling its going to be similar to GT5P's Spec 2 update. New cars added, and maybe a track or 2. Or upgrades from Standard to Premium.

Better be worth something my b-day is the 29th of Oct but we will see. Early b-day present for me lol, hope the DLC is free

some "speculation" looking through the news page and all that.

(Gran Turismo 5 has a mix of gloriously detailed “premium” cars and less detailed “standard cars.” In an interview with Famitsu this week, Polyphony prez Kazunori Yamauchi reveals that there are plans in place to upgrade the standard cars to premium status.

The interview also sheds some light on the upcoming late December update, it seems. I’ll hopefully be getting a look at the interview for myself shortly and will report back if there’s anything else.)

(While poking around the Remote Racing section of the official GT5 “My Home” website, GTPlanet user Yonis made an interesting discovery: the site has been loaded with 24 logos for tracks which aren’t currently playable in the game. Here’s how he did it (hint: the images are publicly available on Polyphony Digital’s web servers if you can decipher their file names), and here’s what he found:
Super Speedway
Driving Park (20r60r)
Apricot Hill
Citta di Aria
Costa di Amalfi
Grand Canyon
Hong Kong
Ice Arena
Infineon Raceway
Driving Park (Kashiwa)
Las Vegas
Midfield Raceway
Twin Ring Motegi
New York
George V Paris
Opera Paris (Tarmac)
Seattle Circuit
Seoul Circuit
Swiss Alps South
Tahiti Maze
Valencia Circuit
El Capitan
Cathedral Rocks (Dirt)
Cathedral Rocks (Dirt Mini)
Cathedral Rocks (Dirt Short)
And what intrest me the most was they found Super speed way, a track that has not been seen since GT2 but all of these were found in GT5, but none of them are playable in the game.

Just some food for thought

and also this weird blog post from Redbull

(Did you find Gran Turismo 5 under the tree? Getting frustrated by the Pikes Peak International course? Well, even if you feel you’ve mastered it, Rhys Millen has a few tips that might help even the most experienced gamer squeeze a bit more speed out of their console.)

IMHO

We have released a new update for Gran Turismo 5.

The main contents are as follows

-5 new cars, raising to total to 1036 cars.
-In game race saves in endurance events
- Country events halls have been added
- Dealership events have been added
- Driving physics have been reworked
- The "Veyron 16.4" has been upgraded to a premium car.
- A Spec awards have been adjusted
- GT Drivers Club
- Seasonal Event winning have been reverted.
-Preparation for DLC, to be released next week.
- Corrections for some minor issues.
- Open Lobby has been streamlined for easier access
- Livery Editor
- Generic Cockpit for standards
- You can add gloves to your drivers.

Spec 2.0 is going to be super duper awesome!!!!

I think it'll include;

-Realistic smell of petrol fumes, burning rubber and overcooked bratwurst (the last one only available on the Nürburgring 24 hour lay out).
-Accurately replicated agonising pain when you crash (ofcourse an option you can immediately turn off).
-It's not only going to finally introduce The Stig but also The Schmig, The Schtick and strangely enough The Smiths...
-New super(duper awesome)cars from Scandinavia you can't pronounce properly without laughing.
-In addition to tons and tons of new tracks (including new versions of Cape Ring, one with a slot in the middle of the track and one with a vertical looping instead of the circular bridge) there's going to be a small lake as well only available for the Schwimmwagen.
-It will introduce new bugs, not the glitch/software fault variety, but the insects variety which splash apart on your windscreen in glorious HD.

If somehow (for whatever reason) not one of these things makes it (apart from that Scandinavian supercar I could do without) I'll be severely disappointed....:grumpy:

Super speedway was in gt3

With the uneffective way PD is working i wouldnt get to hyped. New cars, and tracks, what will that give us regarding the game play? Why didnt they put in good cars from the beginning, instead they put ****** cars like ww2 cars, and other retard ones. Leaving all good cars to standard. No man, they have to learn from turn10 regarding car selection.

KAZ, you game is not a masterpiece, i will brake my gt5 disc soon, and fix fm4!!

HERE............WE.........GO. Lasted long enough lol

very excited about the update. From his comment this should be a big one.
As previously a continues number 1.05, 1.06....etc..right now I believe we are in 1.13? a straight jump to "Spec 2.0". Better be lots of new content. Maybe we talking about 2, 3G worth of patch?
DLC would be more then likely new cars, tracks, suits. As it's "download-able content", it shouldn't be anything too special that will affect the game play if you don't "pay" for it.

i hope the announced DLCs are only Stuff Like Suites, Helmets, Paints and whatever..
DLC Tracks and Cars would ruin the game a bit..
Really??
I want DLC and Stealth Cars for those of us (North and South America) who was not offered the Signature Edition.
