These forza lot wanted some ****** rewind system to pollute GT before it was released.

Now they want some equally pointless feature like livery when there are other more important stuff kaz needs to add to the series.


Looking at their priorties it just shows their kindergarden mentality really.
 
I, too, am cautiously optimistic for this, however, whatever we get, I will be pleased. In my opinion, it's quite silly that people whine because they don't get everything THEY want out of the game.

Lol, kaz has tweeted that he will be posting the important stuff in English. It doesn't get more important than this, besides if it was fake kaz will twitt to tell us so.

Take most of the over opinionated crap spewing from VANDALISER'S keyboard as a perfect example of the latter.

No one in particular, but it should be more than obvious to anyone who bothers to read the posts.

What he did is no different from those that post a complaint, only to come back the following day (week, whatever) and say the same thing. Many people who have issues with GT5 do this very thing. Almost as if they only visit this website ready to pounce on some popular rinse and repeat thread.

Serial complainers as it were.

Not sure if you noticed, there are subforums for many other games. Also if you look past your nose you might find many people here started/or are still playing GT. Just some people can actually branch out and *GASP* play other games as well. Then compare them. And get ready for it.....have an opinion other than GT% is the bestest thing evah!

Thanks for stating the obvious. I was well aware of the different sub-forums on this website. I have actually posted in them.

Ironically, while I do favor GT5, I have played every Forza, Shift, and numerous others out there.

Since it seems the point of my original statement escaped your grasp, I'll repeat it in different fashion. Forza fanboys who post the same complaints, ideas, etc., over and over again are as bad, or perhaps even worse then the GT fanboys here at GTPlanet.

Just a thought.
 
You're splitting hairs. Fanboys are fanboys and they're all douches whether here or there.
Or are we now discussing the relative + & - of the forza vs gt fanboy depending on where they post?

Like racing outfits for my AI co-drivers to play my racing game for me?

You see where this goes? You have your own ideas of what are priorities in the game. Other people, their's. Your ideas are not any more right than any other person's.

Nevermind that, as has been brought up ad nauseum in regards to the livery "issue"... a simple check box in the options menu to disable custom liveries could make both sides happy. You could be happy with a lineup of identi-cars, and others could be happy seeing their unique creations. Win, and indeed, win.

A livery editor is a likely addition to the series, maybe not with Spec 2.0, but is certainly on Kaz' mind for GT6 (he's said they've looked into it). It's quickly becoming a standard for the genre, and it increases the staying power of a game immensely.

It's all about priorties.

As far as i am concerned livery is at the bottom of things to be added to GT. It adds absolutely nothing to gameplay beyond a few oohs and aaahs, check out the booty on this car wooo! The ****?

spend the manpower on things that enhance gameplay. That's my motto.

nobody hates GT here. I love it and been with it since GT1.

But just cuz you love a game doesn't meant you dont see it's flaws. GT5 came out with many of them. Many new ideas that were good but came out seemingly unfinished. The online is fun, but server browsing is so primitive. I like matchmaking, and server browsing. I dont understand why most developers(Activision with CoD) dont put both.

They have some filters, but they only go by what the host labels them as. It doesn't change the game itself.

Lets say, when you make a server, it has a list of presets for the type of racin you want:

SuperGT
LMP
Nascar
Free Race
Drifting
Selecting those modes will automatically force the players to choose from those selections avoiding anyone bring in the wrong car. Also, how about an official drift mode where you can gain credits for holdin a drift? Forza also has alot of tuning options, and parts for purchase that really puts GT's to shame.

If you dont like livery, then dont put it on your car, plain and simple. Loving cars goes beyond just "class" since the dawn of cars, people always loved customization, putting flames on a car, and making unique desings.

Also, ever thought of player banding together and making racing leagues? Imagine creating your own team logo and style with your own set of sponsors?

Plus the bodykit customization in Forza is deep. Not to mention they have tire telemetry etc.

The problem is that you seem to want to dictate how EVERYONE ELSE plays.

I can't remember exactly what site, but it was a blog in Japanese and a person asked if GT5 will have HSV-010GT and the answer was "we would like to have it, we'll see" or something like that. It wasn't Kazunori but some other representative of PD. But this was couple months before the game released. Not very reliable information in retrospect:guilty:

But I think it has good chance. 2010's manufacturer and drivers title of GT500 was Weider Honda. Currently, with 2 more races remaining, Weider Honda is 2nd in point ranking. If PD will add Super GT cars, I think the HSV-GT is a good choice being a champ, and it sounds great.

I don't get the whole “wish list” thing here. Your just setting yourself up for disappointment. I'm pretty sure this is meant to be an informative thread about the upcoming updates, not a wish list. You guys are just cluttering this thread up with useless nonsense. Bottom line, you'll get what they give you, like it or not. I keed coming to this thread for useful information, not people wishing for things that they want only to cry about it when its not included. Please stop with the lists.

👍 The mods should just set up a wish list mega-thread to keep the update threads (not just for Spec II but for every single update since the game was released) from being cluttered with Christmas lists.

Why do people who detract from a livery editor always roll out the cliché that it's going to just be used to rice up cars by every user?

It's a tool of creative expression; it is what you make it.

Anyone who races in organized events and leagues would kill to have a livery editor. I would rather have a livery editor than 40 unchallenging new generic, grinding A spec events against terrible zombie AI.

I agree with you man.

But what I would like is a Racing Modification EDITOR. Liveries only?. Nope. A full RM editor.

That would be really good. Of course is not going to happen... but we are talking here, aren´t we?
 
Wonder how many people would complain of a track shaped like a knob if full track creation was possible ?
 
Someone in another (locked) thread said Kaz has already stated there will be no "new" cars, is there a source for this? I only heard about his original tweet about Spec 2.0 and DLC.
 
How is a livery editor useless??????????? what if i want to create some race car,rally,drift,drag replicas? like i do in other games. its not all about bootys..and boobs, especially regarding the amazing replicas on forza that people create, and that i use to create back in the day
 
@ Tyger Never have seen that, and I've been on top of things since December. And I want to put white racing stripes on my Shelby Mustang that's already painted matte red, and then flames down the front, maybe a Ford logo somewhere.

The whole 'If Forza has it, we don't want it, and Kaz doesn't want it either' attitude is both yawnsome and ridiculous. How these guys know what Kaz wants or doesn't want is something I'd love to know.
