Just found out that the frontal lobe of the brain, the one that is responsible for idiot behaviours its not mature until the age of 25 for most of the people and age 25-30y old for the rest of the people. If you used bday gift, backup, save data, up-up, left, bla bla...you are just a cheater, another carebear who forgot to have fun in a beautiful game like this.

Can you produce any literature that proves your statement? Have you checked for confounding factors or do you not even know what that is?

They left a flawed and incomplete system I wouldn't call it cheating I would just call it understanding how the game works in a more complete manner.

People are always going to cheat and try to ruin the game and see how many glitches they can exploit. It's a natural part of the human race that you can't do anything about. I simply quit playing online because of people in Call of Duty that did stupid stuff like killing teammates and camping in the glitched hiding spots with a sniper rifle. Yes, I do have a PSN account and used the birthday glitch to obtain some 20,000,000+ credit cars I didn't want to race around Indy 205 times to get. But I didn't do it to ruin people's online games. I did it because I wanted them for my personal use of driving them around tracks in practice to see how fast I can run laps with them and to get the closest experience I will ever have to driving them. Besides, if one person has a Ford Mark IV they raced 205 times around Indy for and one person has a Ford Mark IV the birthday glitched, what difference does it make? Just because somebody didnt want to put in the 17 hours of driving around Indy to get the car means that they're going to run around and run people off the track and wall ride also? And as far as trading goes, if you had to save up to buy those high dollar cars, you would probably would think twice about trading it after you put in 17 hours at Indy to get it wouldn't you? Face it. It's a game. Cheaters are always going to be ruining your online game. It's a fact of life and there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it. There's no use complaining about it. If it's the worst thing that ever happens to you I think you'll be in good shape.

I'm pretty sure at some point PD / Sony are going to reset the stats of the glitchers. It's easy for them to track that. It's becoming more and more common on games these days. They did it for the COD games, and a couple of other popular ones as well. So cheaters enjoy! I'm going to laugh when one day you have an empty garage and no credits.

It totally destroys trading if the most expensive cars have no value ,it should've been a great addition to GT but people destroyed it in less than a week.

Except PD obviously never intended the system to be used the way people have been using it.

This sort of thing on Xbox Live would have been the first priority patch and persistant cheaters banned.

Banned on what basis? You can't ban someone from online play for stuff they do offline, and there is no way that PD has a system in place that tracks every single race done and every single car used and the legitimacy of said cars. I'm somewhat doubtful if they can even check the legitimacy at all.

Yeah, and those without any driving skills whatsoever who cheat to get the fastest car around and then proceed to gloriously punt you half a mile off the track in the first corner with it aren't idiots either. They simply have a different idea of fun!

The obvious difference being that one is offline behavior, which effects no one but the person doing the exploit; and one is online behavior in which the exploit is altogether completely irrelevant to griefers and punters (who did that stuff in GT5 as well where these exploits didn't exist). Good indication of what? I could have legitimately bought a 1967 race car in GT5 without even touching an actual race. Whether I received a car through legitimate means or not has absolutely nothing to do with how I act online with it.

I will be honest I Bday glitched to get the Mazda 787 and used it to with a couple races then traded it away. Then I tried bday glitching for the 908, however after the 3rd try I gave up, and just continued to grind.

On another note I have spent 5 Mil plus on cars and tuning

Um...no. Like I said, this practice is common amongst other developers. DICE did it with BF2 and BFBC2. Treyarch did it with COD:BO and so on. There is plenty of precedent for it. It's coming, I'd bet on it.

The difference being that they were issues with online play that were corrected by taking away online accomplishments and/or banning online play, and this is an issue for the most part only regarding offline play. You can't ban people from PSN or screw with people's save games for stuff that they did offline when you can't actually prove that the stuff done offline caused problems for other people online. And the sheer logistics just in attempting to prove that people actually used the exploit offline means that Sony would have to carpet ban PSN players without any actual proof against them.

Your suggestion that basically amounts to "delete the cheater's savegames" not only hasn't been done before, but it would absolutely be grounds for a lawsuit against Sony if they actually tried it.

This will is defenitely not true. I think microsoft would encourage the bday feature exploitation, because for every single car you would need xbox-life to create an account which can send the car. So for every car you would have to pay cash to get the car.

And I just can't belife that anyone would say: Hey stop paying me money, I don't want it, play fair.

I was a l337 in kiddie school when i was young, i use to "hack" the lunch system. You know in sweden we were only allowed to take 4 meatballs in school lunch, but i changed my outfit and stuff so i could take 10-15 meatballs. Then i sold the food for pokemon cards and stuff.
