I already did. My cycle starts 97 cars before TornadoAlley's and is already in the compiled list.

I meant an example of your UCD where you think it's been disorganised... because so far everything points to it being a fixed cycle.

I've considered that as a possibility as it seems like people are matching either my list or Fastas list. I still am clinging to the idea that there is one gigantic list that we just haven't got through yet.

I updated my compiled list to contain some of the new posts.

if you see this crazedmodder then you will know that we have your cycle all filled in until after your day 480. Take a look at the filled in area and that could save you some time.

There's one thing noticed on your list however, you compiled the list to be oldest car (bottom right of the hextet, car 1) at the top to the newest car (top left of the hextet, car 6) at the bottom and the cars within the hextets themselves are in order but the hextets are not.

On the left is the original list copied from yours, on the right is the corrected list.

I know it looks weird because of the -ve days but assuming that the list loops around then this would be the correct way to look at it. Since the game gives you 6 new cars per day and the list is 30 cars long that means that the UCD contains 5 days worth of cars. The first time we load up our games we are on day 1 but we have 30 cars in the UCD (5 days).

For example, let's pretend the list recycles where day 101 is day 1, then my UCD would be:

Doh I completely misinterpreted your day 1 when I was converting it over to the compiled list. I'll get that fixed right away. All of your other days should be correct though.

NP, totally my fault because I remember that the first list I uploaded I forgot to specify the order.

The compiled list has been updated and I incorporated visualface's day 1 and day 1343 into the list. With his contribution the total length of the list is looking to eclipse 6 years with no hint at the cycle starting over.

What I would love to see is if anyone who is interested would do as visualface and record your current used car lot (exactly as it appears) and the current game day. Then start a new game and do the same for your day 1. My hope is that I could do the same thing and possibly see the list cycle back.

If you plan on doing this I ask that you use the master list found in the compiled google spreadsheet (over on the right) to make it more consistent.

I put Famine's day 1 on 700 just because I knew there must be some gap between your list and his. I honestly have no idea what the gap is but I was being optimistic

To save me the typing here is a quote from several pages earlier

Nah man. You're coming in WAY late in the game (as did I...I'd logged for 5 days and then just checked the forum yesterday and found that an immense amount of work had already been done). Read back over the last dozen pages the catch up if you wan't, but:
1) there is a pattern, it is not random. The first day MAY be random, but then you plug into a cycle
2) the cycle is HUGE. No one has seen it repeat yet. Could be thousands of days
3) It is NOT different by region.
4) You're just on part of the cycle that no on has logged yet. That's a good thing for the bigger picture. What you should do is start logging yours. Maybe someone will start to see your pattern in their cycle, and know that they have "met" yours and can complete a gap by using your data

It is not final and they are still looking for data to help fill the gaps.

Yes the day one will be the same.

You will probably notice that I used Famine's list for the first part of what Fastas has recorded. Famine's list preserved the order of the cars better than Fastas but I'm not sure if I got them all ordered correctly (and there is a gap in the record)

Yellow Cells: Fastas had 7 cars for that day (which is impossible)
Orange cells: Fastas had 12 cars for that day and skipped the next day (so I don't know which day what cars appeared).

If you do plan on starting a game over that would be welcomed. It would be extra helpful to take the Famine/Fastas list that I have put together and get the order corrected. I have laid out the correct order for the cars in my personal spreadsheet.

I'm not surprized you can't find your day 1 cycle. I think if you started a new game crazedmodder's list should start around your day 13 which means you have some days before any list that I've seen starts.

I agree that this cycle is looking to be huge but things keep matching up to well to suggest that it is just a completely random cycle for everyone.

Hello UCD OCD'ers! In an attempt to correct the errors and recording progress of my early entries I decided to start the game on another account/same ps3. I am a bit stumped though and here is why,...the first set of cars is identical to that which I had initially recorded but, after progressing the game by four days, the cars are completely different!

So, I thought it might be a fluke and so did the same thing on another account again. This time I got the same thing as I had just done before the same first set and then this same list of cars:

I've started three total games on the same PS3 and progressed about 200 days into each with them all being identical.

Have you advanced your second account far enough that it starts to match back up with your original account?

Let me see if I understand correctly.

You have your original list. We will call it Original.
Then you created a new account and things are different. We will call it New1.
Then you created another new account and got the same as the first new account? We will call it New2.

So, New1 and New2 match or Original and New2 match? I think I got confused.

If New1 and New2 differ from Original is it possible there was some reconfiguring of how the used car list days are ordered in the 1.05 update? If someone created multiple accounts before 1.05 could test it after 1.05 we could see.

Just throwing out a random (nightmare) idea.
