Fastas: No. I didn't think there was a point since it started about 3 cars after Famine's did, and he compiled much more data than I did.

Let me see if I understand correctly.

You have your original list. We will call it Original.
Then you created a new account and things are different. We will call it New1.
Then you created another new account and got the same as the first new account? We will call it New2.

So, New1 and New2 match or Original and New2 match? I think I got confused.

If New1 and New2 differ from Original is it possible there was some reconfiguring of how the used car list days are ordered in the 1.05 update? If someone created multiple accounts before 1.05 could test it after 1.05 we could see.

Just throwing out a random (nightmare) idea.

I considered that and my first game was started before the 1.05 update and the other two games were started after and they are all matching up.

Okay. If you want to jot down to current day and post it from time to time it would be useful all the same. If nothing else it could help determine if/when the cycle completes. 👍

New 1 and New 2 are the same. There isn't much difference though, I think I've just found the start of 'Original' some six days in. :indiff:

I'll record it all anyway, it may and probably is my error. As I stated, I hadn't concluded on a sufficient recording method when I started. Hopefully it will fit into place when I've advanced it a little further.

judging by tornado's used car cycle that list i should see one of my favorite cars of all time, the DMC delorean in less than 40 racing days. :)

That's in dealer acquisition order as displayed on screen from top left to bottom right. I'm not sure how useful it'll be, but there are some rare-ish cars in there so it should be easy to spot where it is in other people's lists. This spans my days 751-755.
 
Thanks for taking the time to post those TGftw. You are remarkably close to my list! If I could be cheaky, the only day I (knowingly missed) will come up for you in about one-hundred days. Could you look out for it please and let me know what the six cars are plus the six before and six after? it is my game day 859 which I think would be your day 857.

I've updated the compiled list to contain chances14 days at the beginning and added visualface's most recent post to the end. I eliminated the master order column as google spreadsheet was getting mad at me for having too many cells.

This list has been a great help to me - to say thanks, I'd like to contribute to it as well.

I have been using the GT5 Compiled Used Car Cycle spreadsheet since spreadsheet day 394 and all of my UCD cars have matched up.

Spreadsheet day 394 = day 405 for me.

I have added data starting with spreadsheet day 485 to start to fill in the gap there. At the moment there's 25 days worth of additional data. It's in your format, so it should be an easy cut and paste.

I just bought a car from the used lot that isn't on the list I believe.

I can get the exact name tonight when i get home but it is just like:

Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R (Pace) '01

Except it is the one without the light bar.

I assume it would be Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R '01 but I have not confirmed yet.

Thanks for the list! If you have time and are willing it would be helpful if you started a new game on the same PS3 (different account is fine) and recorded the day one lot. No guarantees that we will find a match there but it is still another piece of the puzzle.

I'm getting your data incorporated. I'm finding several typos that could easily be avoided if you copied my master list from the compiled spreadsheet. Thanks for the work and I'll get that put in soon!

It would help if we found a match for your day 1 I would know where to put your other block of cars in the master list. Right now I have no clue where I would put your 5 days in the master list.

I have the Nissan - Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R '01 appearing twice so far in the master list (both times in Fastas list)

The PSN doesn't matter. The start point for the list seems to be determined only by a combination of the disk and the PS3. I have started 4 games on 4 different PSN's on my machine and every list is identical.

Alright your starting at nearly the same place as crazedmodder and I just found a match for first post in pr0cy0n622 list (day 505 in the master list). I didn't find a match the first time because I hadn't added his info yet to the master list. :guilty: Thanks for checking! 👍

It's good to see so many people matching lists. Now if only we could figure out when (if) the list cycles back.

My main account is on Day 844, which matches 834 for Fastas, and the car which is missing from his list for his day 834 is the "Mercedes-Benz - SL 600 (R129) '98" which appears as a 7th car on day 837 ! 👍

That is exactly how I have been ordering the cars. And if you could check the ordering of Famine's list in the compiled list that would be excellent!
