Gt5 with two Ps3 on Lan?

Hi,
I want to connect two Ps3 with a crossover Lan Cable. I have the hope that i can play then with 4 Players. Is that right?
(2 Ps3, 2 times Splitscreen, = 4 Players)

nah, 2x ps3 just means an extension of the screen in 1 player

You can't do straight up LAN play in GT5. You need to be signed into PSN (though if you have multiple PS3s connected to the same router, outside of having to sign in it works basically the same as a LAN setup).

Then i have to rethink. Would be awesome when it would work.

Yes. It won't work.

You can link two (or more) PS3s to the same switch, connected to the internet and drive in the same lobby, but that's about it.
