Well if that thing is going to have the same engine as the Ford GT (supposedly)...Then why in gods name would it have a speedo that only went to 160?

Concept, concept, concept. Things in a concept will always change, and may only be there to see what the car will look like in its entirety. They probably just through a stock speedo and tack in the car, and they will update things like this when it comes time for production.

a stock speedo with mood lights?

The new GT has color changing and all, but the speedo goes to 120.....so it's not the stock speedo.

I just meant they probably grabbed A speedo from the parts shelf. Not necessarily a Mustangs.

Eh...It's nice, kinda lame but I like the idea of a 550HP Stock stang, but ford needs to stop trying so damn hard, seriously. Not every car they put out has to be a wanna be super car. The Mustang is NEVER going to be a Viper or a Corvette....

Yeah, but I think they are just going back to the Mustangs roots. Affordable car, but still plenty of horsepower to get up and go. Along with the less expensive models, they also want to bring back the perfomance model Mustangs. Like back in the 60's when the had the Boss, Shelby, and Mach 1 Mustangs.

I think they are just trying to make a broad range of Mustangs like they had back in the day, so that it will appeal to a broader market of consumers.

They look great from the side, but I wish they did something about the front. It looks like a sad face rather than a tough look.

It's supposed to be under 40 grand which is pretty good for a car with that kind of power.

Do you REALLY think that mustang is going to be affordable? Dude, anything with a GT500 badge on it costs an ass load.
Not to start an argument or anything, but that's why I said this: Along with the less expensive models, they also want to bring back the perfomance model Mustangs. The performance models, i.e. like the GT500, are obviously going to cost more. Definetely not an "ass load" though.
