i would join for practice but just got home from work, gunna wack the b-spec on and have a rest had a long day lol

Looks like the grid will be 8-10 cars. That's perfect.

Remember that we use heavy damage! This can only be fixed in the pits. IMPORTANT: If you need to go to the pits because of damage, meke sure you stay out of the racing line on your way to the pits. Failing o do so may result in a penalty. But if something happens early, remember that it could happen to anyone later in the race. So keep pushing is my advice!

The interest in GT300 was cold. Only GT500 for this event. IF there are 4 or more GT300, it's ok to join the race. But less than 4 is a no, no! Hope you understand. You are more then welcome with a GT500 if you want!
 
Will you have HP limit in the room??

I changed the oil in my GTR 2 days ago. It's still in 52x something.

Just finished simulation with Grip Reduction -> Real. Damage -> Heavy
I can say it was not funny...when spinning out, something in the car gets always broken, even after a light touch(so You have to make a pitstop) and after You spin there is no traction left at all,on an almost 6 km track its not easy to crawl back to pit...

I understand that they have tried to make the grip as realistic as possible, but a real racecar driver has a much better view and actually sits in his car so he feels the car.

So I suggest that we drive with Grip Reduction set to Low and Damage off or at least Light.(In my opinion, if You spin off, You still loose easily 10 sec. even without any Damage).But these are just suggestions...

There Will be a HP limit. But it does'nt really matter cause all cars are stock (oilchange and a broken in engine is concidered as stock).

Yes, there si room for more drivers! Just add my PSN and I'll accept as soon as I get home.

I don't think we can push up the start. People have maybe already moved "to do's" cause of the racetime. But I'd love to run a second race after. Just join, and we'll see how many drivers are interedted.

Yes, I know that heavy damage is hard to deal with. But I want to make a try. My guess and hope is that the race will be even cleaner than othervise. The race is long, and the winner is going to be the most careful and consistant but yet fastest driver is my hope!

Maybe the heavy damage is to much, but I want to give it a shot.
Also, I'd not like to change any rules so close to the race.

Ok, but how about the Grip Reduction? Setting it to low gives You a chance to at least get back on track and heading for the pit :)

I can only speak for myself. So yes! My first 8 laps battling with Paginas and decho_ was epic all the way, unfortenutly i put my right rear on the grass in a fast righthander and totaly lost it. Lost 45 seconds trying to get out of that sandpit!:ouch:

So I taught I was smart going into the pits at lap 10 to change from a 1 stop to a 2 stop. Tyres got worn pretty fast. When Paginas and decho came out from the pits I was only 2,5 seconds away. But had to make another pitstop. But I did not! I stayed on the track hoping for a big mistake from one or at best both :).. However, that idea did not turn out very good since I was all over the track last 4-5 laps, and did 2:22's in the end. Almost got overtaken by KamyKaze1098 who I had a HUGE advantege to just a few laps earlier.

It was fun, but I was so slow compared to everyone else.

My race report:

It all went downhill from the formation lap, when CFalcon and I touched when I was weaving to get some tyre temps - I sustained right rear damage and he front left.

Then I spun off due to the damage.

We both pitted at the end of the formation lap, then the race got underway.

I knew I had to be as consistent as possible and I tried to push for a 1-stop strategy to make up time.

It was all going great and I was up into 5th at one point, then I span, and then my tyres went off big time, and I couldn't keep it on the island, and lost a hell of a lot of time (maybe 3 mins) limping my way back to the pits with a majorly damaged car (3 corners).

After I pitted I tried to push as hard as hell but that only ended up in me making more mistakes. I had to pit twice more before the end of the race and ended up stone dead last and 2 laps down.

And my thumbs were sore.

But I had fun :P

Some penaltys was also noticed among drivers who did not finish.

I must say that both decho_ and Paginas drove with very high quality! Theye fighted side by side for 26 laps without touching eachother! 👍

I found that the heavy damage setting actually made drivers think one more time before making a move. The result was less contact in my book!

The you hit me from behind on lap 28 (if I recall) and my left rear got damaged. So without any grip what so ever and a damage rear left I refused to go into the pits. KamyKaze1098 came relly close, think it was 1,5 sec behind me. But he did pass me in the official result since I had a penalty waiting for me :(

But I had a great time as always! I think that all drivers respected eachother really good. But some had not read the rules to 100% i guess.

Yeah - I didn't expect you to brake so early. It was my first online race too, so apologies for that.
 
I gotta say, great race all the way from qczhao and decho. I can't wait to see you guys at Laguna battling it out :)

Hey Masi - you must have got me confused with Paginas :P. I'll probably be battling it out with the GT300 class, judging by how slow I am!
