Yes, that was an insane battle! I have pictures of them still battling like it was lap 1, on lap 25-26.. Major skill. Theye did,nt even touch eatchother and I can tell you, theye drove really agressive (in a 110% controlled manner).

It was fun, but I was so slow compared to everyone else.

My race report:

It all went downhill from the formation lap, when CFalcon and I touched when I was weaving to get some tyre temps - I sustained right rear damage and he front left.

Then I spun off due to the damage.

We both pitted at the end of the formation lap, then the race got underway.

I knew I had to be as consistent as possible and I tried to push for a 1-stop strategy to make up time.

It was all going great and I was up into 5th at one point, then I span, and then my tyres went off big time, and I couldn't keep it on the island, and lost a hell of a lot of time (maybe 3 mins) limping my way back to the pits with a majorly damaged car (3 corners).

After I pitted I tried to push as hard as hell but that only ended up in me making more mistakes. I had to pit twice more before the end of the race and ended up stone dead last and 2 laps down.

And my thumbs were sore.

But I had fun

During the formationlap there is no need to stay close to the driver ahead. Apart from in the end when the race us about to start!

Also, I'm quite confused about our freerun laptimes. Everybody had a different list on hes right stating positions. I just don't understand why it happened.. Anyone?

This was the first time I was doing a rolling up lap and I wasn't concentrating about what was in front of me, hence why the incident happened.

Yes, I would love to do another one. But on a different track ofc. I'm thinking Monza, NurburgringGP/F//24h, Fuji, Monaco, Route246, Indy road course, Daytona roadcourse...

About the rules: Yes! It was a good race, but still, it's not that fun when you have dedicated 2 hours for a 1st post. Making sure all rules are 100% clear. And then when it's time to race, drivers ask about the startprocedure.. Like in the start. It was quite clear (atleast to me) that the rolling start should be in a 2 lane grid where odd numbers used the right side of the track and the even was told to use the left side, forming a 2 lane grid. What happened yesterday was that all cars drove in a single line. Ok, it's not that bad, but the start is less even. I just wish that everybody actually did read all the rules if something was not clear. And as far as I can tell, reading my first post carefully should leave no room for misunderstandings.

Well, I'll try to set something new up in the next week. It was really fun, but also time demanding. Just looking at the replay and taking photos of incidents took me 3 hours.

though it was a vey light touch...Then on lap 14 or 15 a Honda was in front of me with a tire damage I think, it was going all over the road, so when I tried to overtake my front tire got damaged.Third pitstop in 15 laps was enough for me.

I drive a lot on Nordschleife with pro Germans and Finns without Heavy Damage, it is very intensed races,with sometimes small touches, but if someone knocks out somebody,everybody slows in, and no one overtakes before the guy is back on track in his earlier position.Thats what I call gentleman rules!
With my driving skills I think its great to Race without only thinking on driving safely and try to stay on the track, with the real Race coming in second hand.

I don´t remember if I´ve ever seen a Super GT race on TV, but for example in DTM light contacts is part of the Race...

So if You continue driving with Heavy Damage on and Real Grip Reduction, I´ll have to find myself a kind of semi-pro
series to join...

Don´t get me wrong, with Your driving skills, when You can concentrate on Racing too, I understand perfectly if You wanna use these rules.

You had to be carefull in your overtakes so you won't get or cause damage.

I think this worked great. It was awsome. But even in this conditions you 3 guys in the front were driving so well, and manage to cleanly overtake eachother a thousand times. I was always seeing lead changes in the position chart.

I just wich i had the ability to keep with you guys. In the first laps i was being able to folow you. I had my car with max downforce, so i would loose to you in the straights(seriously, i exit the last chicane behind the yellow supra i think, and couldn't slipstream pass him), but in the s-curves i was catching you. Until i made a mistake and loose to much time and concentration.

It was fun. And besides the start, wich isn't your fault, all went great.

Therefore I will now link you to a Championship that's soon wil start. Right now the preseason race 3 is about to take place. The real season starts probably in the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. The Championship will include GT500's and GT300's so it's up to you which class you want to compete in. And be sure to read all rules and regulations as well 👍. Driver skills will always be a factor. 4/5 cars that finished was on the same lap. If drivers just quit the race, it's sad. But there is not much you can do about it. If I had a large stack of players divided in to groups. I could make very close races.

As the Championship I linked in a post above. There are divisions, meking the faster drivers compete against eachother. That is great racing, I can tell you 👍

I guess it all comes down to what you want from a race. If it's a competative race, you can't expect drivers to slow down if you spin. I do know that such races can be epic! But it's not RACING to me.

I prefer that skill level decides who a player have tight races against, and not by help from bost, no damage, TCS, SRF, ASM, or whatever. I love racing in it's purest form. And if I host another event I'll use the same rules as for Suzuka. Perhaps changing the startprocedure cause it did not work out the way I planned..
