I'm very pleased to announce that http://gt5cars.heroku.com now includes user garages. Simply sign up on the site, then click on the star.

Hope you enjoy it, feedback welcome!

Oh, you can see my garage here.

I have no information regarding RPM limits. I have some information (from Famine) about forced induction / NA, but I have not yet integrated it into the site. I wasn't planning to, is there a reason I should?

Well, I guess we all play this game to meet our own needs. I personally don't enjoy driving turboed cars with low rpm limits for example but rather n/a high(er) revving stuff - finding the cars is just a pain unless I sit a research engine models then try and find someone with the car who will trade with me. But no, no reason to force you into adding it :) it's your site !

It would be so much better if you didn't have to click on the cars name each time you wanted to add it to your garage, and did like mygranturismo.net and added a clickable side bar.

I considered something like that, but then it became a little tricky, as what if you have multiple copies of a car? The first time you click the button, it adds it to your garage. The next time it removes it. I suppose there might not be many people that have multiple copies of a given car, but it ties in to some other plans I have. I suppose if enough people wanted the quick toggle though, I could probably work something out.

Say, if it's possible (I don't have much web-designing experience myself), have it so that 1 click adds one copy, and if you wanted more, click the name of the car and enter an amount. Or something.

Very nice update!

But, to be honest, I kind of "hate" the way we use to add cars... It's pretty long! I have a 250+ cars garage to put on your website and it's a pain in the arse :P

Other than that, I'm glad you did this update. I'll use your database for sure, as soon as you come up with a better idea to add cars to the garage :)

Thanks for the update, e.

I'd been exploring the same thing... I'll definitely give this some more thought and see what I can come up with.

Thanks!

OK, noted... I only have about 50 cars, it didn't take TOO awful long... I'll see what I can come up with.

Or maybe just add a Plus (+) and Minus (-)... + adds one, - removes one.

And put something like "if car.quantity = 0, can't use minus" :)

Can i take the pug 905 and put in my gt5 garage?

Well, let's give this a try, click on a star to add the car to your garage. However, you can't remove cars from your garage that way, only add them, and only the first one. To remove a car (or add additional copies of the same car) you click on the car's model and then use the add/remove buttons found there.

It's up now. Try it out and let me know what you think.

I like that :)

Good job :)

I like it. I'll get round to coding in my 350 car garage today =P

Oh by the way... Kudos for the UCD search engine, it rocks!

A sure fire win now and for it's future. Great work!

How do i put the cars over in my GT5 garange? (mean them i took from the website to gt5 on my ps3?

You don't get the cars for free just because you select them...

It's a lot better than mygranturismo.net already so, I can't wait for a design upgrade. Still, I love the way it is now ;)

Thanks a lot.
I really like the used car search function.

Eh. I like your idea, but honestly, I prefer mygranturismo.net. Easier for me. I certainly will use the UCD forecaster thing, or at least will when you get coded in more days (done 5 so far, not one has been succesful =P)

Looks good. Just a quick question - are car thumbnails going to be gradually uploaded? Some cars don't have them...

Yes, as I acquire them I'll be adding them. It looks like I'm currently missing 47, not bad, I think. :)

Awesome work guys. Bookmarked.

Now put that in an app for iPad and that would be epic.
