Just fixed a few bugs, and made some speed improvements.

Nicely done. Added and bookmarked. Tell me, you any good at javascript? I got a small project unrelated, that needs about 5 mins work by a decent javascript programmer.

Uploaded some new data from Famine. Highlights include:
  • Camaro SS Edge Edition
  • Various model name corrections
  • Various statistics corrections and verifications
  • Distinction between Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC) '90 and RX-7 GT-X (FC, J) '90
  • Distinction between Nissan Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) '71 and 240ZG (HS30) '71

Awsome job! Clean, simple, and lots of info. Love the search function.

I don't see the Acura NSX RM '91 on there. Does the list not include race-modded cars at all?

I have yet to intdicate those cars which can be race modified. When I do, I don't think they'll get their own entries, but rather I plan to flag them as being "race modifiable" or something like that. Would you suggest something different?

Maybe just "RM?"

Maybe just "RM?"
Well, I mean, yeah, it'll be something like that, I just wasn't sure if there was some good reason to have a completely separate entry for the RM cars.

Clicking the Ginetta G4 brings up a picture of a Ford Rs200 rally car.

Some people like myself have an RM version and a non-RM version in their garage. If users are using the website to keep track o their garages then having both can be an asset.

It's my plan to eventually allow you to store notes with each car in your garage, so you could indicate that it has RM there, along with any other mods you might want to list, or the color, odometer etc. Do you think that would be sufficient?

Thank you for doing this. It is exactly what I needed! I went to another website and it was just to much fluff. This gets to the point and is perfect. Great job!!!!

I added it to my favorites and will be using it.

Thanks again.

Awesome site! Thanks so much. Much better than the other alternatives.

cool Page. Just signed up also.
I refrained from using mygt.net as the page was so overloaded. Thanks for yours.

However there is an issue i have with both sites:
Is there any way to extract/parse the game garage automatically from your PSN account, savegame or else?
I collect cars and as i have 82x already (which is probably not much after all) its hard (aka i wont do it) to check them all.

If you know of any way, or invent one, to upload ones garage to the sites database, you can hotlink you pay payl account and collect the big money! :)

I've been meaning to see if it's possible to connect to one's PSN account to do it, I suspect not, but until PSN is back up in my neck of the woods, I can't even investigate. Getting the info from a saved game is a good idea that I hadn't thought of. I suspect there's some sort of encryption involved, but that's worth looking into also. Thanks for the ideas, I'll let you know if anything comes of them.

Just fixed the images for the Ginetta G4, Gillet Vertigo, Ford (AU) Falcon, Audi RS4, Audi RS6, Audi RS6 Avant '02, Audi RS6 Avant '08, and Audi S3 '02. :)

Just fixed a bug that prevented sorting "by star", that is, whether or not something is in your garage.

This is great, thanks for doing this!

Being able to add notes for my cars would be awesome. One other thing I would like would be to be able to search for just the cars that I have more than one of.

Fixed a bug when selecting to display all cars, and added the ability to filter on RM cars.

Just rolled out some changes that increase the speed of used car dealership searches by a couple orders of magnitude. I'm also using a faster autocomplete method, so filling out the form isn't so tedious.

e.

More changes, the site now sports more accurate rarity calculations for the used car database. Cumulative distribution functions for teh WIN.

e.

It's definately getting better. Perhaps you could add a darker background to it so that it isn't as glaring (although this site uses a white background as well ;) ), but overall it's a top job.

I'm just getting a Page Not Found error, if that helps.

Could you cut and paste the URL that you're visiting? The site appears to be working just fine for me at the moment.

Thank you for the feedback,

e.

I got the Page Not Found error too. I typed in www. before gtcars.net and was able to get in.

That's strange, since http://www.gt5cars.net is supposed to redirect to http://gt5cars.net Could you cut and paste the exact url you used when you got the page not found error? It would greatly help me fix the issue if I could reproduce it.

Thank you,

e.
