Er, guys...
OST = Original Sound Track = CD of the songs in the game. Nobody is going to be illegally playing the game by booting off a CD of mp3s...![]()
How can anyone think that people will play online with an illegal copy if the PS3 isnt even hacked yet?!
Look on almost any torrent site and you will see pretty much every PS3 game available to download (some being 25GB!).
But its a waste of bandwidth cos no-one has found a way to bypass the copy protection (yet) on the PS3!
AUPYou will not use these forums to violate any laws nor to discuss illegal activities.
Incorrect. As far as I know but haven't tried myself, there are certain private sites that have PS3 games for download that actually run on your PS3. But you have to actually know the people to get into the group or something along those lines, from what I've heard.

Mate, I can guarantee you that what you have heard is 110% BULL****!
The easiest way to understand how the copy protection system works is that to imagine that the disc has purposely placed errors.
When a PS3 reads the disc and sees these "errors" it tells the console the game is legit and from the correct region so it can boot up.
But NO CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burner on the planet can replicate these "errors"!! And when you read a game disc to an ISO file the software/burner automatically "fixes" these "errors" (when in actual fact it is just making copying the disc harder to do).
The ONLY way to get round this is if you own a machine that can press CD's/DVD's/Blu-Ray's! Thats how codemasers that make unofficial action replays/gamesharks get round it. They get their discs PRESSED!
Im not just some noob who dont know jack about the modding scene, I actually stay well with the modding scene for all consoles and have done since the PS1 modding days!
1) You really need to work on reading a thread before you post. The OP is talking about the Orginal Sound Track.
2) And you have some funny facts as well. But seriously guys, read the thread before you post.
Next up, people have answered the original question and discussion much of piracy is pretty much a no no
The soundtrack for the japanese version of Prologue actually is on sale, and downloading it is illegal.
EDIT: check this thread on where to order it from: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=103883
EDIT 2:
2) whats so funny about my facts? It is well known that the data held within the disc that tells the console the disc is legit can not be copied with a commercial burner of any sort, and has to be pressed (like what codemasters do) or you need to use a FW hack to bypass the check or a modchip to "inject" the code that tells the console the disc is legit....
yes it's true. I'm seeing it right now:idea:
is that already out? where can I order it?
ost = original soundtrack
Well you are right and you are wrong. There is just a lot more to it now days than errors on discs. But its too boring and technical a subject to get into here, and with the PS3 being region free, if a mod chip does come out expect sonys lawyers to come out all guns blazing also.

Looks like you haven't been watching it closely:However I'll be watching this thread too - if they ever make the soundtrack buyable I'm going to purchase a copy asap.
