GT6 Drag race "Sleepers"???

It's probably because you've got nos on it. Gear ratios will never get you kicked unless you join a room full of tools who think their 900bhp GTR is unbeaten.
guess what room i was in... Some saleens, even an idiot with an Alfa Brera who thought he'd win. But I've also beaten a veyron with nos in my rs6 so...

I've beaten veyrons in an R34 with no nos, there's a lot of rooms like that but most of the pros you see on gt6 don't run nos and beating noobs all the time gets quite boring, sometimes it's fun to take a loss now and again.

Yeah, running in a lobby of noobs can get boring fast. Beating GTRs in an Evo is comical for about 10 minutes. But after the rage quitters are gone, it's no longer fun.

Are there still any fast people that play? My ps3 crapped out on me a couple months ago, and I haven't bothered fixing it. But if there's still a handful of fast guys online, I may try getting it to work.

I still play and people I have seen online are evil ninja, kuko, jamesharden, optic, Danny, some of the guys from ATP, wraith, ty1220, and a few others. With school in session there isn't as many as before but maybe in the summer time people will come back.

I've not been on for about the same amount of time. I would like to get back on but it's not worth re-buying the game and getting a new ps3, plus this forum is pretty much a graveyard. I may be on GT7 if they decide to make it.

On topic a few cars I like to drive that a lot of people don't have or won't take the time to tune are...

Renault Gordini
86 MR2 1600g
83 celica

These are not really sleepers but cars that most people don't have so unfortunately they sit in my virtual garage collecting virtual dust.

What are some cars on Gran Turismo 6 that you don't usually see. Looking mainly for Drag car sleepers.
good sleeper cars, ive got a few on mind, but probably the best is the toyota caldina gt-four, can run slow evos and runs great with gtr's using nos

For low hp drags I have heard that the MazdaSpeed 6 can be a sleeper car. Is that true?

You can use the 499 bhp Ford Escort RS Cosworth, its low bhp, but the car is lightning off the mark. So is the Mazda mazdaspeed touring car. You need to be on your tree game because the Ford Escort with anything lower bhp than a stupid bhp super or hyper car, its going to be down that track before you can blink your eye.

Just ask @jdiaz092009. I'm sure hes seen my Ford Escort off the line and the Mazda 6 Touring car.

Also my little Peugeot 106 Rallye is quicker off the line than a Honda and its FWD. It stays ahead of Hondas to just past the middle part of the drag strip, not bad for 280 bhp.

Although in fairness the 106 actually weighs less weight per bhp per tonne than the honda is more weight per bhp per ton. Even so its a great little FWD car and something that you can surprise people with if you get a good tree.
