Probably the best drifting I've seen in GT6 so far, do you find the SL55 to drift easier than other cars or do you just like it :)

What tyres were you using and what force feedback level?

Thank you, I just went back to the SL55 because it was very smooth in GT5 and I figured I'd test it out. It is very smooth at 850hp, but that probably won't be the case for everyone. I had a hard time learning the new physics with lower horsepower cars also. I'm using a G27 with power-steering off, comfort hard tires and FFB 8.

We have GT6' drift king :D

I have to do a lot op practice I can see.
I also have a G27 and I have a fully tuned SL55 AMG so let's get to practice!

Very very impressive. I've never been into drifting in the gt series, but seeing this video with the g27 makes me intrigued! I find it so hard to keep anything from spinning or catching and snap oversteering. Is it part of tuning or just a lot of practice?

50/50. You need a proper setup in GT6 otherwise everything feels like junk with a wheel. Years of racing sim drifting also helped 👍. Try it out dude, you might like it a lot.

Now to show how good you are.
One of my first attempts of drifting in GT6, I suck... :D

As you can see I have to do a lot of practice to drift well in GT6.
It takes some practice to use the new physics model properly but with Comfort hard tires the car is actually easier to control than in GT5 in my opinion. I think the physics model is really great and with lots of practicing I will be able to drift properly I think. Mainly because the new physics model gives you much more feeling about what the car is going to do, where in GT5 you almost couldn't feel any weight movement. It was easy drifting though, in GT5. :D

How the hell do you drift with a 900 degree wheel??

My biggest problem trying to drift is that I can't turn my steering wheel fast enough.
I'm using the G25.

Seriously: how do you do it?

It's just feelling. It is a combination of turn moment, throttle moment and control and feeling of the car.
Just use your regular brakes, steer in, use the throttle, steer back (not completely just practice until you feel the point), control the throttle and use the steering wheel to make the car go where you want. And maybe the most important part: Anticipate on the next corner, otherwise you will get stuck in that one.
It's just practice, glad I learnt drifting in GT5 already. This makes it a lot easier, in GT6 you can notice the car movement more easily. I just need to practice and understand the new physics better.

Yeah but the 900 degree is killing me.
For the drifting events I went back to my DS controller and got gold that way (after 25 tries, but still...)

With the G25 I just can't steer fast enough :(

Just take my word: it's all about practice. When I got from my DS3 back to a steering wheel (DFGT back than) two years ago, I really couldn't drift any more. But I went on, practiced a lot and after a while you won't be able to drift using a DS3 any more. :D
In advance a steering wheel is harder to control but after a while you will get a feeling for it and you will notice that a steering wheel is much more controllable. I would recommend you if you can't drift using your G25, just start drifting with some slow cars. I started with a Subaru Impreza in GT5 for the matter of fact. (90% power on rear wheels)
After that I went on to a Honda NSX and a Nissan 370Z.
After a while you will get a feeling for it so that you will be able to drift faster cars.

@Merquise Just keep practicing and try to stick to one car until you learn the feel for drifting. Also you're mentioning steering as if I'm the fastest human on earth lol. Remember, this is drifting. The only steering inputs I use are for corrections, otherwise you should be able to steer with your right foot . Get out there and practice!

My record with G25: 820 points.
It's absolutely impossible for me to do.
Used the DS3 and golded it.

Gawd i hate these events.

Would you mind giving your cars set up?
If you don't want to I completely understand, with competitions and teams and the like. Very nice drifting man!

that look so good and easy and yes i know it´s not easy :)
Sorry for OT what do you to record your video ?
