I thought it would be fun for us to write some GT6 fantasy updates, in the style of the short messages/changelogs we get from PD. I wrote this one in another thread, it's what gave me the idea for this thread.


"Here's update 1.05, the main changes are as follows; we have fixed all the bugs & implemented all the changes requested by the GT community as posted in FRoSTeD's thread on GT Planet. We're very sorry for ignoring our fans all these years & perusing our own narrow minded agenda at the expense of common sense, we beg you to please forgive us. We've come to our senses after being awestruck at the ingenious humility of Slightly Mad Studios regarding how they are creating a simulator based on community feedback. From now on we'll be doing the same & welcome all your input via GT Planet. Several PD staff members have signed up over at GT Planet & will be working with Jordan to improve the GT series from now on."

Update 1.XX

This exciting new update brings some truly outstanding new features, including:

Newly modeled trees, we have added 3 brand new trees that we forgot about at the Nordschleife
A brand new MX-5 is included, we made up the model name as we had run out of real ones to use
The reworked course generator is finally here, yours for only $50 in micro transaction payments.

We are sorry that these genre defining changes were not included at the release of GT6, we were too busy playing Forza to care, be sure to look out for future updates which we probably won't bother with at all.

Update 1.5:

-New/returning tracks have been added: Road America, Donnington, Sydney Motorsport Park, SSR11, El Capitan and Pikes Peak

-A new Rally section has also been added with 6 new point to point rally courses

-the Course Creator has returned with new features that will give you much more control over the design of the course you want to make. Anything from a point to point dirt course to a short sprint city track to a 15km race track.

-single player races have received a complete overhaul. It is now called "Event Creator" and has been updated with a wealth of new options: tire wear, fuel consumption, opponent settings/car types, qualifications, create your own championship with multiple races in a Grand Prix mode, create a rally race with the new point to point courses or create your own with the track creator. Time trial mode now gives you complete control over your time board by letting you remove times you do not want from the list. Global leaderboards are also available for each car and class if you wish to compare your times with those around the world.

-Online now has the community features we talked about before GT6 released. The event creator from single player will also carry over to multiplayer with people now able to create racing leauges and multi-race events. Look for the new iOS/Android app that will let you take GT6 on the road with you as you keep up with league standings and even tinker with the cars in your garage when you're away from the PS3. Shuffle racing has also returned.

-Paint chips have been discarded in favor of a new Paint Shop where all colors and paint types are available to buy for every car that can be painted. A new livery editor has been added as well.

-All versions of the Pontiac Firebird from the first one to the last are available in the game now :sly:

too tired to think of anything else but that is my dream update! :lol: now to wait for the 3 new seasonal events to be added.. :(

Position of some constellations and stars were, finally, fixed. Now, you can gaze upon them, doing the "endurances", knowing that the sky trully represents something that you can't actually see in real life with a naked eye.

- A new kitten home feature is added. Raise your own kittens and customize their names, appearances, personalities and skills.
- A new scrapyard feature is added. Get rid of the cars you don't want to drive. Put them in the car crusher and watch as they're being obliterated. In a future update we will add a new service where you can sell the metal from the bodywork of your crushed cars for PSN-vouchers usable to purchase GT6 DLC packs.
- A new search bot has been launched on the internet. It will monitor your posts on social media and forums (e.g. GTPlanet.net) and every time you say something bad about the game or the studio or the producer, one of your kittens will be put in the car crusher. This we promise.
 
Update 1.08
- A new Vision Gran Turismo car made by Toyota, has been added. You can obtain it for free for only once at the Vision Gran Turismo menu.
- We attempted to fix the glitch and bugs currently in the game, by looking the list of glitches up on the Internet.
- We have made over 25 standard cars a premium car.
- We have implemented the engine stage 4, the turbo stage 4 and the weight reduction stage 4 and 5. These upgrades may be applied to your car only after your car gets the first engine overhaul for the former two, and the first body rigidity maintenance for the latter.
- We have implemented engine swaps.

- now is possible to change sex of your pilot-avatar, after the change your pilot image will be updated with new characteristics setted in the suitable menu (i.e. bra sizes etc etc )
- You can decide the hair color of the girls on the grid and their dress (option Playboy dress obtained with all S licence GOLD)
- A new customization area of the car has been added , the WEAPONS and ARMORED shop, usefull in online lobby to eliminate n00bs with redbull
- increased the friendS limits to 1000
- new Chuck Norris mode added

Update 9000.01
A new update for Gran Turismo 6 has been released.
The main features added are as follows:
  • Additional vehicles
    • Ford GT (FIA GT1) '10, Chevrolet Corvette C6.R (FIA GT1) '09, SRT Viper GTS-R '13
    • Additional GT3 cars, including the Ford Mustang FR500 Marc VDS GT3 '10 and the Chevrolet Camaro GT3 '12!
    • Taffyta Muttonfudge's Sugar Rush racer
  • Removal of artificial off-road speed limiter
  • New livery editor
A new livery editor has been added to GT6 in GT Auto > Paint > Livery editor. In the livery editor, you can create custom paint jobs for your cars using custom body colours, vinyls, decals and official number placards, sponsorship stickers and full body wraps from the following series:
  • FIA GT1 World Championship (placards, sponsorships and liveries)
  • FIA World Endurance Championship (LMP1, LMP2, GTE Pro/Am placards and liveries available)
  • Autobacs Super GT (GT500 and GT300 placards, sponsorships and liveries)
  • NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (sponsorships and liveries).

I guess what I was eluding too was that with all this hype regarding lack of "contact" from PD,
maybe there is also a "communication" breakdown within its own walls. 💡 :lol:

All karts will now have Racing Aids (ABS, ASM, SRF, TCS, etc.)

The Turbo issue with the Honda HSV-010 GT (15th Anniversary ver.) has been fixed

A new feature option 'Drift Style has been added. In 'Easy Drift' style, you can now drift easily by just braking while turning allowing you to drift like real life. 'Normal Drift' is the standard/default style of drifting.

Sorry. Not into Porsches but just edited my post; added the Lotus and McLaren F1 cars driven by Ayrton Senna.

Not sure if I should add in Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari aka Imola. That circuit is cursed and unsafe.
